    This makes sense.

So you'll send him to the minors once you claim him back.

Why can't the team who claimed him once the player has gone through waivers take the same step?

They can, after going through the same process. Waiving a player so you can send to the minors doesn't mean you want to lose him. He's out of options, which means a claiming team's intent should be to place him on their BLB roster, or go through the same process to demote him.

Regardless, it appears the issue is what Andrew posted.

So how do we fix this going forward? Is it only post ST it happens?

There are more teams than Was that claimed a player and moved them to the minors. Fixing this is a time consuming affair for us.

The best solution is for people to stop claiming players they have no intention of putting on their active roster unless the player has option years remaining and can be legitimately sent to the minors.

                            Agreed here.

The only player I've claimed with no option years remaining and not playing in my BLB squad since the Rule 5 is

C Xu-gang Ti was claimed off waivers from Batavia.

If Batavia wants him back, and if he falls under this issue, he can have him.

Prez, you may keep Warren McKay if you so desire. He was yours I think originally if I recall correctly. He's just gonna sit in my minors anyway.

That's like telling people not to offer unrealistic Team Option contracts.

Since there are no good answers the commish moving everyone back really sucks...especially since there are multiple teams.

If you want a player back who was on a minor league contract on your BLB roster put it in the Commish thread? Is that fair?
