  • Bold Predictions-1993

Last year, I started the thread with these predictions

1.Baltimore wins the Porter and continues to the IL championship series.

    2. Don Castor leads league in home runs and RBI and ends Doorbell's stranglehold on Stout Slugger.

    3. Denver trades one of his 36 veteran relievers to Baltimore for half-off the normal going rate.
Considering this is baseball, 2/3 ain't bad, right?

    This year:

Loren Wallace remains healthy all year and wins his first Stout Slugger.
Don Castor sets the new BLB record for homeruns with 48.
Baltimore wins its 2nd consecutive Porter crown.

and the boldest prediction of them all,

The Bock finally has a member above .500.

Spring Training is here so what's your bold prediction for 1993?

Baltimore Bulldogs - BLB since '84
    - Porter Champs: '92, '93, '97, '98, '01, '03, '06, '08, '12

Lonnie Scott will win the 1993 Stout Slugger.

(I figure that's just about as bold as someone from Baltimore ever winning it)
      The Great One!

      To many rings to count...

From winning 100 games to not making the playoffs. I wouldn't expect anything less from a former Lions fan.

              A) What would a Lions' fan know about the playoffs

              B) I'm just jumping on the Batavia train that you invited everyone on. Choo choo.

Not a bold prediction, but I don't think it warrants a new thread:

I say the hits may be the hardest. I say it because I'm bold.

                          Maine reclaims the Ale!

I predict Alan has been silently putting together a great team and his team will see great success in his early BLB career (similar to funclown's). No pressure
