Has there been any talk on the OOTP forums regarding this? I know change is a good thing and a lot of great changes are in OOTP 2007, but it seems odd some players are THAT much worse in the new version.

i'm not particularly happy with how my team turned out with the switch. I was one of the top hitting teams and now i'm bottom 2?

My big question, is what makes a guy like Jose Sanchez http://ootp.oldredboat.com/news/html...layer_400.html different than a Keppel or Hildebrand.

Sanchez's numbers are right in line with his career averages. My thinking originally was that it affected the high AVG, high OBP guys the most but can't figure out what the difference is.

Eh, the DL is no longer a wiffleball league, so what?

I hope this means Kellum will suck ass when he returns.

I think my park alone was the reason for the DL being such a hitters league.

it's not just keppel. it's almost everyone in my lineup

Monterola - lowest OPS .820, this year .694 (granted, he could be aging)
Fonkert - 700+ OPS, this year, barely cracking 600
                    Keppel - jeez
Lamberts - really wasn't my player
McSherson - lowest OPS .800, this year .710
Huxham - the only exception to the rule... he's having a fine year so far.
Delgado - not quite sure what to make of him.

then of course, there's my bullpen

Ba - 2.50 to 3.50 ERA, this year, almost 7.

who knows, maybe they all do just suck this year...

very well could be. it's a damn shame. i certainly would not have extended keppel and jones if i'd known that random players would take random hits in performance.

oh well. it's still just a game, and i'll have to learn to adjust. no biggie.

                              It's 30 games!
I'm not bitching about my pitching going from one of the best in the league to shit.....yet.

I don't feel the DL pain because I thought your offensive stats were inflated to begin with, just like I thought our pitching stats were.
