    Thanks Brad!

Another lousy 2-4 week, where all of our losses were by one run... Our hot and cold season continues... Our offence continues to pile up stats, but rarely seems to get that one big hit to break open a close game... For a team with the #2 bullpen, we are a serious mediocre 15-13 in one run games...

In good news, we still sit 4.5 games up in the last wild card spot!

In ever better news, former 6th overall pick, Miles 'Rapid' McIntyre, picked up a win in his BLB debut, by holding the Montreal Exports to 8 hits, 2 runs, 0 walks, and 7 strikeouts in a 3-2 win!

Thanks Brad! During the pandemic, the earlier the sim the better.

Great week for the Pilots: 3-0 at Pittsburgh and 3-1 hosting Syracuse. Really would have liked the 7-0 week but couldn't get it done against those underdog Snappers.

SP Demetrius Insua has really turned his season around. After starting the year 1-4 with a 6.59 ERA, he is now at 7-7 with a 3.56 ERA and 1.03 WHIP. I likely still overpaid, by a lot, but he's become a reliable option.

2B Jimmy Ballew had another monster week and is now hitting .352/1.148 with 5 SB in 11 games. He might be the worst defensive 2B in baseball but as long as he is hitting like this, I will have to find him reps.

3-3 for the Bats, winning a series in Montreal before losing one to Toronto as we played the Canadian teams this week. It was our first series loss in a while, with a couple of old friends in Arballo and Garza helping Toronto beat us in DC.

We didn't hit as well as we've been doing this year, but Nunes did his share - .417 with 3 HR and 5 RBI to get over 100 for the season. The Bats record is 132, which he's on base to break. I haven't had anyone with more than 112, so he could get to that number within a couple of sims if he keeps up his pace lately. We got a couple of rough weeks from Grant and D'Addona, so the bottom of the lineup isn't really giving me much right now.

On the mound, it was a solid week from the bullpen, though the starters weren't very good. Galvan has had a good run of appearances, hopefully shaking off the early season struggles when he got lit up a few times.
