Seattle goes 2-1 @ PHI/DEN to sit at 106-49, with a five game lead over both Washington and Maine for home field. Last year we gave every starter the week off and I think it hurt us in the playoffs. Some players will have a few healthy scratches, but we will be playing basically full strength to avoid rust during the bye. If someone gets hurt, I'll take solace knowing it's better they get hurt next week than in the middle of the playoff series. There are still a few players that are in battles to make the Playoff Roster including DH C.J. "Waivers" Viger. 3B Johnny Swope raised his average to .360 this week and will really have to struggle this last week to not capture the Triple Crown. What a special year he's had. He would need a pretty special week to catch Mel Woodbury's single-season VORP record but he's already locked up the 2nd best all-time by a non-Clay edited player.

In more exciting news, the Cleveland Bobcats defeated the Omaha Blackhawks 3-1 to win their first Rookie League title. Good series liquidcrash . I saw you went as far as bringing down some kids from Single-A. Love the competitiveness.

Around the league, the IL playoff teams are all wrapped up but still some seeding up for grabs. In the DL there are five teams fighting for three spots.
