Pawtucket 3-3 on the road this week. Can't complain about that. Seems some of the younger pitchers are faring a bit better this year then they're rookie season. Might be the better defense behind them or its just a small sample size. Bullpen still alot of be desired, but hey they aren't the worst anymore.

We are trying this new concept called "Pitching and defense" hope it works. Its really out of the box thinking.

It doesn't work in this version. I had to give up. This version likes fireworks, let's see what OOTP18 brings to the table.

            Thanks, Brad.

A little underwhelming after last week's strong performance on the road. Splitting a four-game series at home versus the Dinos isn't great, and continuing our home stand by dropping two out of three to the Patriots isn't good either.

In better news, Izzy Rivera signed a two-year extension to remain with the Guides—I feel great about this deal and keeping him around, especially at this price.

Taylor Thomas will begin his rehab stint at AAA next sim. In the meantime, Steve Suarez plays full-time as the designated hitter and marches forward toward the all-time hits record. His current mark of 3,368 hits places him 75 hits behind Harry Keppel's third place spot. Then it's another 41 to pass Jose Guzman for second place. Then 30 to claim the record for himself. So he's 145 hits away from owning the record.

Lol, I prefer balance to be honest, but dealing with the hand I'm dealt for now. The hitters are still a few seasons away.

2-2 vs. Phoenix - Each game decided by two runs: L 2-4, W 3-1, W 4-2, L 1-3 - Not bad all things considered. Phoenix is the class of the division and if we can be .500 against them all year, I will be pleased.

0-3 vs. Windy City - Shit. Two of the losses by a single run: L 0-1, L 7-8, L 2-5 - Not what I was anticipating. Congrats new guy.

Two weeks in and this team looks a bit average. Still leading the IL in fielding but besides home runs, we really don't do anything else that well.

Wow after seasons upon seasons of being injury free the OOTP gods are taking aim at Pawtucket especially the farm system. Pretty soon we might field an entire team of injured players. What gives??

We had a Perfect Game tossed this week on 87 pitches. That's Maddux territory there.

I cant believe Aiden Gay is playing in AAA for NY. After winning 14 games for us last year with a 3.33 ERA in 218 IP. Free Aiden Gay! http://www.simgamingnetwork.com/blb/...ayer_2107.html

Through two weeks of baseball New York has managed to score only 25 runs.

Maybe Gay should hit for them.

Also, shout out to everyone - we had 25 good exports this morning (only exception was SYR who was between owners). This league survives/thrives because of each one of you taking time to participate. Really appreciate it!
