First losing month. Not going to catch Carolina. Not going to catch Philly/Baltimore. Just not our time.

            Pawtucket 5-1.

On offense we went back to "what worked before" and things seemed fine.

Note to new GMs . Sometimes it's best to not fiddle too much with the lineup and get all hung up on splits. You hit on a lineup, just rotate for days off and let it rip.

Prospect watch: I know it's funny saying that with not a single top 100, but last scouting says SS/3B Jimmy Lee should debut real soon. IF/OF Hudson debut around debut about mid 2014. We're also keeping an eye on SS Ian Ose, but he probably ends up at a utlitity Defensive IF.

Real world Funclown has been more under stress that I've ever been since joining the league. (Mostly work related). This team was built to make it easy on me the next few seasons. So far can't say I'm dissatisfied. Need to hold this division then perform in the playoffs.

In the DL, looks like the 6 playoff teams have been decided?

Another 3-3 Week, seems that our young players are doing a little better.

I have some of my youngsters ready for AAA, but my AA is on fire for a play-off spot, shall I allow them to finish the league and call them up next year? Or shall I call them now to play the last month of the competition, despite they will be in a loser team but will upgrade the record??

Let them finish the season in AA playoffs. It's about "playing time" you don't get a competition boost. After the playoffs it's a feel move on who should be called up.

Remember once you start the clock they join your 40 man roster and over time they can lose they're player options and be claimed.

Personally, don't rush them,. LA isn't showing any signs of slowing down.

I mean call them up to AAA, not thinking in a BLB debut until 2015 :)

Wait til 2014. Just refer to the Cubs on player development.

That's next year? I don't think we will be able to field a competitive team next year yet, so might be worth to debut them in 2015 and try to start to roll all the youngsters at the same time, or do you think will be worth try next year?

Give them some at bats in AAA to start the season. By the June draft: 1) see how they're performing, 2) see where your BLB team is at, 3) see what the ratings tell you. It can be a "yes they are ready'or "fuck it, wait til September".

It's still a gut feel, but rushing is a big issue in this league. Jistic always gave me 24 for pitcher , 23 for hitters. Did I always follow it? Of course not, but it's a pretty nice guideline.

We had a good week but we can't beat Syracuse so it doesn't matter
