We fell back even more, now seven games under our expected record.

And our newest addition Nari Garin suffered a season-ending injury in his second game.

I'm toying with the idea of giving Twinkle Toes a couple starts this year.

Sure Colin Reed. Go ahead and decide to finally play now that we are completely out of it.

        I really appreciate it.

Our trip through Baltimore did not go well. Not well at all. Our pitching staff just got steamrolled this SIM. It's been a while since we as a team have sported an ERA nearing 8 for the week.

Bright spots? Dave Farmer has finally arrived for the 2004 season (hopefully). Ling lai Pang continues to put up a great season. Same for Victor Alveraz. Pete Fitzgerald looked good in his first game back from injury (though he picked up the loss, he did go 7.1 IP with 2ER).

                Pawtucket 4-3.

With Maine now reduced to spoiler role and being swept two straight series against Pitt this was a very dangerous week for us. Would of liked 5-2, but overall well can't complain.

Every weeks really counts now. Back home where we've been playing well of late.

Feels like a possible Lonnie Coleman coming. It's been awhile hasn't it?

                  What happened in AAA?

Three teams tied for the final playoff spot. All three teams apparently clinched a playoff spot according to the Standings.

One teams made the playoffs. No tie break game. I'm guessing the game decided on its own? But no indication as to why or how. Pretty whack.

Man, he stepped right back into the swing of things, too. Not sure I've ever seen a guy step off an extended DL stay and pick up POTW honors right away. Impressive.

We went 4-2 against NO and TOR, but still lost a game in our division lead. Love the offense. The defense has been good with the only exception being RF Alexander who my scout said got better (lied). Even the pitching is getting there after the worst start I've ever seen for a LA SP rotation. This version really hates Vasquez and Pierce, both had given up almost 20 HRs at the half! I tried to replace one of them with Baik but he died after one awesome AAA sim.

All of this means I still have no idea how I hold off NYK who has a slight scheduling advantage. I'm 8-6 against him but that advantage could change hands in the next sim.

                              Pawtucket notes:

Probably the worst rescout I've seen in a longtime. Somehow Simmons ratings are holding, but does HE know this?

Dam, Lucca Memmoli is trying to single handily carry us to the playoffs. He's almost Stout Slugger worthy.(I'm voting for Shurbert)

Might be a 'Slider' sighting soon. Yes, the old vet is back.

Even with the poor showing, Lee is back to potential hall of farmer according to my scout. Also a Collins debuts in the top 100.
