2-4 and we somehow still find ourselves tied for 1st. Got swept by the Bandits. Very disappointing way to go out against them. However, we did take 2/3 from the champs which is nice to see. Also, I had been singing the praises of rookie infielder, Oscar Lerma who was rewarded with ROM Award.
This one is going down to the wire, Dave. (Linty Dave not Angry Dave). Next week we both face Batavia and Philly. All of our games are at home so we HAVE to take care of business.
Doing a great job of climbing the draft board. The few bright spots are the same.
Herberholz just continues to get better. ERA drops ever sim, his K numbers are up. Great year for this kid.
Ming Er is a good player
Cy Gray is still playing well since coming over from Baltimore.
Also wanted to mention Mauro 'Doorbell' Espadanal. He's a closer but still I think deserves some consideration for new brew. Still hasn't blown a save, 1.57 ERA, a WHIP of .92 he's been even better than we hoped. Hopefully our closer for the future when we make our run.
Other than that? Sim season.

VA and WAS still have 7 HTH games and WAS still has a series against Carolina and Baltimore. But like you said, still impressive to come out with timely series wins against California and Carolina this week.
