      Hahaha.

      *sucks in deep breath*

      HAAAAAAHAHAHAHAHA.

I just don't get it. I mean, he proved in AAA that he can throw more than 50 pitches in a game. ERGO, he can obviously start at the BLB level. Why would a guy with a shitty 3rd pitch and a shitty stamina rating who succeeded as a reliever on the best team in the league struggle to start on a sub-.500 team? I just don't get it. But this is just shocking. Just when you think you have OOTP figured out, something like this happens.

You know considering I never had anything to say about the trade to you, it would be advisable you worry about your own team instead.

Not seeing the reason for this gloating.

I wouldn't be so quick to dismiss what Skerik has to say. His .460 winning percentage since returning to the BLB and conquering 81 win division title in 1991 tells me that this guy knows what he's talking about.

Why take things personally? Go back and read the thread for that trade and it should be pretty apparent why I'm "gloating." I said he couldn't be an effective starter and he's not doing anything to disprove that notion. Meanwhile Clay drafted a clear stud at #2 overall because he sold someone on the false premise that Olivo would be a stud starter.

Surely you didn't expect silence from those of us who said this wouldn't work out well for you if it didn't work out well for you. I know it's still very early, but so far Olivo has been exactly what I thought he would be. Maybe he can close. But people don't trade the #2 pick of drafts for closers.

Well I'd expect that pitching in the DL doesn't help either.

Yeah, because I built this team that I took over. Meanwhile if you count my two playoff appearances with the Baltimore franchise and my one with Sin City/New Orleans, I have more playoff appearances in my two stretches of ownership than you have in 17 seasons.

....but I fail to see what any of that has to do with noting that Ivan Olivo is not pitching well this season. I think we can all agree on that without any dick-measuring of our lifetime winning percentages, career playoff appearances, etc.

                  Have a heart Skerik.

All Carlos is saying is, he'd like to be wrong in his own special way.

Olivo is having a rough patch, but he is a legit starter.

And, for the 4000th time, I've never talked another owner into anything.

Go hug Baby Tebow, Sherik. You're upsetting your DL Brotherhood.

You're assuming I would have taken who Clay took. I don't care what TJ does.

And I'm not taking it personal. You've done that for me already. I'm merely pointing out that laughing at my players is not advisable when you should be worried about your own.

I expect people will bring up Olivo's recent struggles. Laughing about it? That I didn't consider. I expected a bit more maturity.

Well there's your first problem. But in all seriousness, I did not realize that you were such a delicate flower. Please accept my apologies for hurting your internet feelings regarding your fake baseball players.

I'm sorry Carlos, but I've got to laugh at this one.

HMM, I am feeling the love in this league. Anyone want an $8,000,000 back up catcher ?
