A disappointing fall for what we thought was our TE of the future when we drafted him a year ago. He still has some great pass-catching bars to work with, but the TE we signed last year in FA is still going strong, and Nate Barlow has emerged steadily every year since we drafted him in the 7th. Peters would only have been a limited part of the offense this year.

Appreciate the deal, Foos. Would have liked a higher pick for him, but he had fallen further than I wanted to admit.

Man, I was talking to rando about some OSFL history and I looked up this thread to reminisce about another guy I probably shouldn't have let go. And I realized we completely forgot about the condition attached to this trade. The 4th rounder ended up being 4.27.

What do you think, Foos? I'm not going to be a stickler about it, but I wouldn't mind a 5th next year instead. I should have kept track better though, so if you'd rather leave it at this, I'm fine with it too.
