It seems that St. Paul is our preferred trading partner. I got Linty's ok on this one since I was not sure if the league allowed conditional trades... Linty is ok as long as Denver and St. Paul keep track of the conditional parts.

Conditionals:

If St Paul's 1st in 2020 is 1.1-1.7:
Denver also sends their 2nd in 2020,
unless Denver's 2020 2nd is the 2.1-2.10, then Denver sends their 2nd and 4th in 2021

If St Paul's 1st in 2020 is 1.8-1.13, Denver sends their 3rd in 2021

If St Paul's 1st is 1.19-1.27, St Paul also includes their 3rd in 2021

If St Paul's 1st is 1.28-1.32, St Paul also includes their 2nd in 2021.

Too many conditions for you or are you surprised at how St Paul has turned themselves into a contender?

It is funny because the whole thing started with Matt telling me that his 1st would be a top 10 pick, so he wanted something extra back in the deal besides the LT. But then I started looking at his team... and I thought he was underestimating himself. On the other hand, he does seem to be in a tough division. We'll see if I was right.

Matt had a really solid draft, combined with some good players (like his RB from last year). So I'm not expecting STP to be a pushover anyway. I'm actually very disappointed that someone decided to hand you another first round pick though.

I actually find this league to be my toughest in terms of making trades. I don't know if that's because I don't know as many people here, people in this league don't wheel and deal or you guys are all too stingy... ;-)

Anyhow, I don't need any more 1sts next season, two is enough. I just want to add some 4ths and 5ths. I absolutely love to talk trade, though. It is what gets me going in FOF.

St. Paul will pick between 5th and 8th...Denver will pick between 9th and 12th.

If I had to guess based on opponents winning % as the tiebreaker I believe St. Paul will get the 6th pick...Denver will get the 10th pick...so I should get Denver's 2nd and 4th in 2021.

I'd rather have the 6th pick. Live and learn.

That's what it should be but I would not move the picks just yet. I have done this "pick estimating" for a few leagues now... And while it is generally accurate, for whatever reason it is not 100%. I could very easily get the 11th pick or something like that.

Especially out of the 1st round... In the event of a tie, if I get the higher pick in the 1st round I will likely get the lower pick in the 2nd round.

Well, yes, depending on the draft class it could be a very good trade for me. On the other hand, you got very good value from me in the Inoue trade - at least by my estimation. You win some, you lose some... And I still maintain that you have a solid team. There was no way I expected to get the 6th overall pick from this transaction.
