We should probably keep it in a per-thread basis to make it easier for Linty to keep track of what new trades have happened, and what trades he's processed.

I think this messup with that 2nd rounder was just a rare slip up. Linty processed the previous Columbus trade but didn't include one of the picks, or something, or it would have reflected that in the utility initially.
