Despite the fact that there is no rules in place for this kind of situations, we (in SGN) advocate for the fair play, respect between GMs and good conduct of our members.

I am going to issue Irabowman only with a Warning due to his personal circumstances, and giving Matt some time before to cancel the trade, next infraction will result in a 1st Round pick loss.

This trade could have been comfirmed including the would be picked player, so I could select him for the GM. Specially being the last pick of the scheduled Round for the day.
Now more than probably seeing trades between this 2 Franchises will be very rare.


This could have been a total different approach if Irabowman accepted a "subjectively perceived" better trade value, cancelling in the process a pre-agreed trade which wasn't confirmed yet. This kind of conduct won't be tolerated and the 1st Round pick loss would have been enforced.

From my dealing's with Irabowman he's an easy going and reasonable trade partner, so I feel his intent was not to offend. That being said the trade was posted for just shy of an hour before being canceled, for a Better offer. I've always confirmed trades as quick as possible for fear of the deals being voided ( Do to the league having no rule against voiding posted non confirmed trades). So with no rule in place against such an action I can't fault Ira but at the same time I feel for Matt's loss.

Few seasons ago I had a trade made with someone and right after I made it Frozen Flame made me a offer of a 1st rd pick, I kept original deal a it was confirmed fairly quickly. I made this mistake honestly not because I felt it was better deal it was cause I did not think of it being last pick of the rd and timer stopping. I was afraid time would run out before confirmation and getting pick transferred. I had taken meds that clouded my thinking and I honestly apologize to Matt and anyone else I have offended.
