    Dakota sends its 2045 4th.
    Boston sends RB Dennis Ford.

There just wasn't going to be work for him here, barring injuries. Thanks for the deal, Foos! Though, I guess your RBs aren't too shabby either.

    Dakota agrees.

I like to have two starter quality RBs on my roster and with this guy and Boyd I feel like I will.

When do we begin to initiate the trade ban with Aston? After he's won his eighth championship in a row?

If you guys really want to stop Aston you should stop him from signing undrafted RBs that are nearly 50 rating that he can later trade for 4th round picks. :)

Trust me...the rest of us would if we had the secret formula on how to "game the game" that only a few have cracked.

He's more like 40s! But yeah, I don't know. There regularly seems to be some well-developed, mid 30s potential RBs to hit UDFA.

Ford was 29/32 and only 35% developed. WR Word was 26/38. OG Ishikawa was 16/41. At this point being a low 40s player is a win, so I just try to sign guys like this and see if they get Past Injustices. Most don't, but Ford looks like he has a pretty good chance, right? RB Creel, the year before, was similar looking to Ford, I think.

This year I have WR Braden Kolb (24/36), G Bo Mathis (23/37), and DT Calvin Heinz (
30/37). Granted, they're probably barely 40 if at all, but I'll take that over a low 30s player that I'd have to develop. If they didn't have PI I'd probably cut them all, as their bars don't look very compelling. Having PI makes me hope they'll bump up a couple of OVR, which would make their bars look a lot better than if they went down a couple of OVR.

It's hard to tell with rookies in general, I guess. I signed some 22/36 or so OT in the playoffs in the CFL last year, and he turned out to have PI. I had a guy go on IR and I just looked for <3 year players with high potential that might have some chance. (He's probably still mediocre, but we'll see!)

TL;DR I just try to sign players that look good. I guess over time you get a little bit of a feel for what "looks good" is and what's "probably a moonshot", e.g, someone with a bunch of zero bars and then one or two that are 9/42. I look at that and think it might as well be 15. Or, a 21/60 ST bar. That guy might have 30 ST.
