Why in the world would you trade the best player and QB in the game in his 4th year?

For saying that you weren't trying to get rid of him you sure didn't wait long for offers. Especially considering it's the offseason and our first stage of the new season is tommorrow.

5 picks. Not bad. This game isn't about QBs anymore. I went 7-9 in another league with a crappy rookie QB.

The problem is picks are so hard to get right these days.

Leave me alone :(.. But It was literally the best thing I could've gotten in return, because I was looking for picks, and I got 5 of the highest picks possible over the next 3 years.. If you're upset about me not waiting long, you had a chance to make an offer...

I have a QB signed cheap for multiple years. I wouldn't have sent you an offer. But I know two other owners who would have (one with more than 3 1sts) and neither of them even saw the trade block.

The time between your trade block post and your trade confirmation with Ohio was only 21 hrs.

I am not saying you made a bad trade. I just don't understand what your rush was.

Fair enough. But honestly I felt like I got more than I was expecting so I just took it

Active owners get better trades and FAs that non active ones, even if you are working, in 21 hours you have plenty time to check the trade blocks, compare with your team and take a decision to whether make an offer...

I can see why he was traded, the guy is a walking injury report. I wouldn't have traded him because I've never seen a QB this high rated in mp before, but Shark gave up 1.5 so ....

And Shark has made the fantastic decision to kill his QB as his roster is quite bad. Good luck with that rebuild!

Fair trade all round in my eyes. I offered something similar and advised Jake to use it as a bench mark. With the 'rule of five', he couldn't really expect much more than what Shark offered.

JMO, of course, but there are some players that if I had you couldn't possibly offer anything in the world to get me to part with them. A bevy of draft picks looks nice on paper until you use them to little effect (in making up ground vs what you gave up).

I know there are other schools of thought, although I think mainly that depends on the owners cashing in the draft boon on another player trade -- i.e, to land a QB such as this.

What I was trying to say but with a lot more tact.
