Just a head up Delandis, but this is the exact sort of trade that should be avoided at nearly all costs. That 2nd rounder you traded could turn out to be 2.1, which is a huge loss for you.
(Not trying to call you or your team bad, just using that as an example.)

For simplicity's sake I'd say it's up to the two trade partners to get the deal done and the picks moved in time. If they fail to do that, then the deal doesn't go through and the draft has to move on.
If you want to make an offer and then have to run, you can try letting me know and I'll help out if I happen to be available, but don't count on that in general.
The less judgment calls anybody has to make, the better.
Not trying to rock the boat...but isn't the point of the draft clock to keep the draft moving? What if Matt doesn't come back online for 6 hours?
Sorry, I LITERALLY only meant to have it stopped for a couple minutes. I got called into a work meeting where things were burning more than here. Sorry about that, I simply didn't want there to be a roll back due to someone being in the middle of responding to a post and moving the pick over.
FWIW, Matt confirmed it and then didn't move the pick so we had to move the pick over which is what I was attempting to avoid in case things didn't get processed in time. Rolling a draft back tends to cause issues and that's what I was attempting to avoid.

OK, Aston, I take back what I said in the 'Aston is a GOD' thread. You ARE a God, and thank you for clearing this up. At least this time I wasn't involved. I guess we should just have ONE chief... you know what they say, too many cooks spoil the broth
