Cutters and Mechanics make a deal

Camden, NJ -- The Camden Cutters announce that they have acquired rookie WR Corey Page, along with a 5th round pick in the upcoming OSFL Draft, from the Motor City Mechanics in exchange for Camden's 2nd round pick.

Following Jamal Brewer's devastating knee injury, Camden made it a priority to acquire another playmaker at the WR spot and we are hopeful that Corey can step into our offense and develop into the player we know he can be.

MILFORD, MI -- Mechanics' President and CEO Clay Shaver released a brief statement today confirming the trade of Rookie Wide Receiver Corey Page.

"We wish Corey the best of luck with Camden. We think the kid has a ton of potential and a lot going for him, that's why we drafted him. Unfortunately, I think he's looking for a bigger role in the offense than we can currently offer him. That's why we made the decision to make this move."

Motor City will include a 5th Rounder in the deal that will bring the Cutters' 2nd Round pick in this year's draft to Detroit.

"We're a playoff team. We're here to win Championships. That's Championships with an S. We feel that this pick will allow us the opportunity to grab ready to play talent this off-season in needs positions in hopes of defending the title we plan to bring home in a few months."

Receiver Leader and Vet Kim Rose will slide into the #1 Flanker position with the exit of Page.
