In order to afford the absurd salary of WR Billy Seau, Vegas is doing a bit of housecleaning.
QB Lincoln Outlaw - 10th - 61/61 - Outlaw's been a good QB for the Outlaws and I'm reluctant to let him go. But he's also got a $35m salary this year that will almost entirely clear the space needed to keep Seau, so he's on the block. His numbers last year were down a bit thanks to injuries to the rest of the team - he spent half of it without his #1 WR and with half the offensive line on backups. But he's still a highly capable starting QB and obviously has a lot of value that way. Asking a 1st.
WR Brenden Bookas - 11th - 49/49 - A capable possession WR and all-around return man. 6th in average punt return distance in the league last year. Asking a 3rd.
DE Louis Ogden - 10th - 64/64 - Older, but still a top-tier pass rusher with a 96 PRS. 8.5 sacks, 24 hurries last season. Asking a 2nd.
More likely to come once I see resign numbers for some of the 4th season guys.
