With Geoff Cielo's emergence as a regular starter, Gio Stokes has been displaced. He's currently 30 years old, and has a mid 50's rating. My scout is showing him as 55/55 and the league scout has him at 56/56. When he was starting he was able to top 10 sacks in a season, so he can definitely get to the QB. He's also got a 69 run defense rating, so he's an every down type player.
I'd be most interested in using him as part of a package that allows me to move up in the draft. So, if you're looking to move down and need a DE, this might be a deal for you. Otherwise, a starting caliber WR, RB, LB, or DB would be my priorities.
