  • QB W. Andrews 79/79 11th year

A trading rumors started in Ohio after the dissapointing start of this new season!!

The owner are thinking in a new direction with one drastic rebuilding plan.

See what happens this week versus 0-2 Denver who started as bad as us.

QB Walter Andrews is in the trade block, 79/79 11th season and plenty to offer in his unveliable arm. He will be traded if my season still disastrous at week 6 for the right price.

So make your bids and I will keep you tunned if that was won for another. The best will welcome Andrews in time for the week 7, if it is enough for me and him

    PM me with it!!

Definitely, Andrews still has years to go and is, I believe, the highest OVR QB in the league. But he's been franchised three times by Ohio Valley and while they can keep doing that, it's going to be real costly.

Still, you can't pull away the league's best QB with five or six years left to play without giving up multiple 1s.

I wonder how many teams can currently afford the cap hit.

He will be a big investment for low teams without a doubt, he can turn 180 degrees a franchise... The firsts offers are in my box right now... We will see

2 weeks to decide if trade Andrews or not... That loss and our ineptitude to gameplan this year should open the door for him and start a rebuild in Ohio´s River

Currently I have decent offers but nothing spectacular at this point to land him inmediatly in other City...

There's only 10 teams that can afford his current cap hit, so unless other teams wanted to trade a player back in return, there is no way I can see someone giving up 2 first rounders for him.

It's not like the real NFL where you can trade, but the new team can restructure his contract before it counts against the cap, in FOF the trade can't go thru if it sends a team over the cap.

Where you've tagged him the past 3 years, I don't think he'll renegotiate with you in order to lower his cap hit, so your back to square one, having 10 teams that can afford his contract.

My opinion of these 10 that can afford him outright...

Anchorage - They could use him, but being 0-3 their pick is probably going to be top 5, so why take the chance for an older QB.
Chicago - I don't see them doing a deal with the QB's they have.
Utah - I don't see them doing one either.
Waco - They could use him and have the cap room, and look like one of better teams to make this trade.
Charlotte - QB DeJesus, enough said. No trade here.
Kalispel - QB Purkayastha, enough said. No trade here.
Camden - They could use him and have cap room, and look like the other team to make this trade.
              S. Maryland - 3-0 with the QB they have, they could make a deal, but with 14 players with 9 or more years in the league, would it really make sense for them? They will have to replace the older guys sooner, rather than later.
SF - QB Figures, enough said. No trade here.
Columbus - QB Tubbs is up there in age, but he's been with them since 2014, and has been one of the best QB's in the game....not sure Columbus would want to put Tubbs on the bench for Andrews. I know I wouldn't if Tubbs was on my team.

All of the other teams would have to cut/trade players to get Andrews to fit under the cap for them and I'm not going to go thru all of them.

Anchorage has a +8 QB in his 2nd year, so they're totally out of the picture. That's a great summary of the market Ozias, it looks really tough...and the Sharks don't have to be desperate to get rid of him, either.

Seems like the Mickey Baines scenario for this offseason. Similar caliber, similar cap cost, same year QB, same asking price, but stuck with Motor City in the end.

Also note Anchorage is now 0-4 after the last week.

Thanks for the info Nutah. I forgot about his QB getting the +8 bump, so I wouldn't do the deal if I was Anchorage.

The Sharks may have to wait for the off season to make a deal, or hope one of the few step up and make a deal with him. It will be something worth watching!

This will mark the 3rd time this season I've been unable to acquire a franchise QB.
