    Off-Season 2059 Write-up
    Season Review:
We were the worst team by a lot of metrics this year. For a team with this much talent, we should have been nowhere near that bad. But we were. Our offense was one of, if not the worst, groups in the OSFL and our defense was not that much better. Coming into this offseason, I identified 3 key positions to attack in the offseason to improve this team:
    1. QB. Masso had some good bars but he couldn't produce in the offense that we ran. He threw too many interceptions and couldn't sustain drives. We needed youth at the position, which is something that I failed to bring in. The QB we drafted 2 years ago with 2.02, Rufus Metz, started 2 games and is now out of the league. We needed to go big or go home and that's how I wanted to start off the draft. With the best qb on the board
    2. WR. We had no talent at the WR position for a while now and that is part of the reason why our offense has been so bad the past few years. We need to get that #1 receiver on the roster, whether its through FA or the draft.
    3. S. We had some pretty bad safety play for the past few years. We needed to get someone who could be an eraser deep and play in the box. That could change up the entire defense.
    Offseason:

    Free-Agency:

    Released:
    Neil Masso
    Albert Weaver
    Todd Mare
    Mackenzie Raggio
    Carter Wilcox

    Signed:
Peter Saucier WR - $58.32 for 2 years
Brian Vaughn TE - $8.49 for 1 year
    Marcus Jacobs 43 WLB - $22.50 for 2 years
    Mitchell Thigpen T - $7.10 for 2 years
    Adam Boccaleri 3T - $5.7 for 2 years
Johnnie Capone DE - $16.80 for 3 years

    Drafted:
1.01 - Erick Dotson, QB, Army
He is the QB of the future, plain and simple. After this pick, any move I make is to make sure that
Dotson is in the best situation possible.
    1.27 - Kurt Seymour, G, Hawaii
We needed a guy to play RG as Albert Weaver was getting too old. Kurt can start and contribute from day 1.
2.6 - Bernard Kuhn, WR, Iowa State
He's a risky prospect because of his 0-3 AD bar but if he doesn't crumble in EX2 then he will be a monster
3.11 - Angel Bech, FB, Colorado
I wanted a FB that can run block and pass block, as well as be a threat out of the backfield in passing situations. He gives me the ability to run passing plays out of a 22 set.
4.1 - Nolan McGee, DE, Ohio
Not gonna lie, I slept through my pick and forgot to set priority so here's this guy. If I didn't fall asleep I wanted a RB here but you live and learn
    5.1 - B.J. Richard, C, UCLA
A terrible combine makes me worried but he's a prospect that if he had an average combine would have gone day 2 at the latest. Love the pick
6.1 - Gabe Flowers, CB, Mississippi
I had another corner and DE on my board but they went after I went to bed and I didn't have anyone else. Probably gonna get cut
7.1 - Ricardo Buckner, WR, Howard
Honestly hes an intriguing guy. I drafted him for his return upside but he has decent RR and courage/BPR so he could actually produce for us as a 4th or 5th receiver. Not bad IMO

    Recap:
This was an offseason that was about redefining the team. We needed an identity because all we were doing was wasting the career of star players. This team looks a lot better now than it did when we were entering the offseason. Unfortunately, since Dotson is 1% developed, he currently has literally no accuracy. We will suck this year for sure but I'm ok with these growing pains because the path out of the bottom of the AC West is finally in view. We still have a lot of work to do but the foundation has finally been put together
