2044 Draft
1.28 QB Alec Fisk (14/58 > 18/58)
With good ole Sage in year 17 now, time for a change. He'll be running things next season probably.
Lame, I see a bit of VOL decline in his ratings by his SR bar dropping a good amount. Shame, cuz he looks like he could have been much better than he'll be due to VOL.
1.31 SS Sherman Monaghan (35/68 > 37/57)
We have no FS, knowing this, and seeing him not get passed Aston at 1.32 or garion who had the 1.31, I HAD to trade in to get him. So he'll move to FS and fill out that spot.
Seriously? VOL hits to both of my first rounders.. How fucking lame. Anyway, he might still be decent.
2.28 LT Scottie Bush (16/56 > 21/56)
Had a nice little gap in my interviews, but saw him sitting there at 2.28 and no chance I'd pass him up. May sit this year, but will likely start in the near future at LT.
Glad to see this guy hold, I didn't interview and wasn't quite sure he was good.
3.3 RG Charlie Vera (24/51 > 28/46)
Still in that interview gap and needed to pick. Vera seemed like the logical choice, and I needed a Guard, so he'll likely start this season moving forward.
Might still start, but he won't be as good as I had hoped.
3.28 RT Trevor Hopper (17/60 > 23/60)
Finally got my interviews, and this one came back Underrated. Easy pick. And will start across Scottie Bush at Right Tackle when the time comes.
Doesn't appear to be Underrated as his interview suggested. He did lose some static bar, which may suggest VOL, but it's not much, if any.
4.28 DT Emmett Poston (28/44 > 30/42)
He'll make a nice backup DT. Probably won't start this year, but we'll see.
Not as bad as I had hoped, but nothing special. Still probably won't start this year, but we'll see. On second thought, he's probably going to be the starter.
5.28 C Evan Clancy (18/43 > 21/41)
Might make the team as a backup, but nothing more than that. Will be looking to replace eventually.
Still may make the team as a backup, but overly not impressed, but could remain as a backup.
6.28 DT Lester Hobgood (23/40 > 26/38)
Will make the team as a backup along side Poston, won't start, probably never will.
[b]
7.28 TE Jamie Wuerffel (17/38 > 25/44)
Unlikely that he'll even be 3rd string TE.
Puzzled by this one.. Not only will he make the team, but he'll be the backup TE.
Overall, this draft may end up being decent, but due to the VOL that hit some of our guys, even a small amount, it appears worse than it could have been. Either way, gotta live with it, and we still got some players and filled some holes that we needed to.
