    The Scythe: Cutting to the Heart of the Reaper's News

    The Chicago Reapers are not a storied OSFL franchise when measured in wins and losses. Chicago has a losing record against each of it's division foes. And it isn't even close. But it is one of the original founding franchises, and that history counts for something.

    Last season's 13 win season is something to build on.

    Offseason News:

    Defensive tackle Fred Felder has retired. Felder spent the last three years on Chicago's roster. He was originally drafted by San Francisco in the fourth round of the 2027 rookie draft.

      The Rookie Draft

      1.31. (trade from Waco). QB Leon LaRue, Wagner College
      6-2, 215 lbs.
      Did Not Interview
      High Volatility
      AFFINITY

      Sense Rush Bar is better than advertised and his Combine Scores look good. Pos Drill Score is but two off from the green, and I'll take that. Nine formations isn't going to fly, but he has a season or two to grow.

      Given the age of McMaster, we had to take the guy.

        What about Intelligence? ? You can't draft a QB without to know if is going to be like PXT's QB Morton!!!
        Miami Sharks (BLB)
        * BLB Champions --> 2017, 2020.

        Ohio River Sharks (OSFL)
        * OSFL Bowl CHAMPION > 2036, 2047.

          I'm gambling on his Sense Rush Static Bar. Low formations and High Sole score can be trouble, but I rolled the dice.

            I'm interested to see how he turns out because I didn't expect ANY QBs to be taken in the 1st round. They all looked bad to me.

            Edit: I guess I should add that I'm not in the market for a QB, so I haven't bothered really looking into them, but a glancing look told me that this is a bad year for starting QB caliber talent.
