  • Shark´s Tank 2038 Edition

    After another excelent season in Ohio with 100% assistance an all the players clicking in all cylinders, is time to salute the champion and start over again

    As every year we want to review our Draft class from 3 seasons ago and is facing the terrible contract year

    Draft 2035 Review

    * Round 1 Pick 21 --> OG J.J. Rose (Vanderbilt) 26/53 --> 46/46

    Rose started every game when healthy since arrived to Ohio when it was a very weak O-line, but his contribution to the running game is dropping steadly and he never met the expectations of a 1st round pick, he is an okay player but probably will not get a big payday if we find another Guard during the Free Agency.

    * Round 2 Pick 28 --> DE Clay Lang (Purdue) 15/39 --> 32/41

    Your prototypical 3-4 D# RE, Lang is very good stopping the run and has a good upside searching and knocking the QB down, his numbers are increasing steadly and he will be our back-up for years to come, not the best role for a former 2nd Round pick but at least he and Goodfellow are set for years to come into RE position to switch between Base and Dime formations.

    * Round 3 Pick 21 --> FS Lenny Joyner (Mississippi State) Traded to Pearl Harbor

    A very good pick but he was traded to Pearl Harbor to bring Ezekiel McPhee to the town the next year, a strong conflict with Holliday and a couple of Brawls during the practices lead Lenny to pack his bags and get the starting role in Pearl Harbor where he picked off 6 times the last year.

    * Round 3 Pick 31 --> OT Howie Wilcox (Louisiana State) 18/43 --> 28/38

    Wilcox was picked due his awesome PB hability, but he has excellent feet to protect the QB against Speed rushers but he is a liability in bull-rush or power blitzes, he gave up 5 Sacks in 84 PPlays this year and we are not happy about that obviously, he will have another pre-season to see what he can do with a little more development but probably will be a casualty during the next year.

    * Round 5 Pick 21 --> OLB Jake Chickson (South Carolina) 15/37 --> 29/30

    Chickson is a good ST player but that´s it, he will remain in the team as long as his contract stays cheap and also we don´t find a better back-up during the low rounds of the Draft.

    * Round 6 Pick 21 --> OT Jon Hopkins (Louisiana State) 18/24 --> Retired

    The LSU couple of Tackles were quickly disolved in Ohio, Hopkins spent only the TC and the first game of the Pre-season with the Sharks.
    Miami Sharks (BLB)
    * BLB Champions --> 2017, 2020.

    Ohio River Sharks (OSFL)
    * OSFL Bowl CHAMPION > 2036, 2047.

    That's actually a fairly terrible draft class for you, Shark. I've had a few of those myself since moving to FOF7: Players who contribute but then ask for way too much for their mediocre performance.

      Agree with that man, this is why I decided to start to ship my picks and get young players instead of Draft

      This year I will try to make a good run thought cause we really need it

        QB Corwin Galligher re-structures contract to give Sharks some Flexibility

        While most of the teams are competing to grab the figgest fish in the Free Agency, the Sharks, as usual, are playing with the contracts of their players to adjust them under the hammer of the Cap Figure. Corwin Galligher agreed to re-structure his contract and will free-up nearly 9 Millions in Cap Space.

        "At the end of the day is all about the team, I am very proud and happy to be a Shark and I did the best for Sharkn20 and my fellows to have the possibility to bring new Sharks to our special River, I am looking forward to see what our CEO can do with that 9 Millions and work in an extension the next year or two, I wish to retire as a Shark and we will probably reach that Agreement"

        With this new contract Galligher received $38.860.000 in guaranteed money and will receive $1.640.000 as a base salary this year and $27.500.000 as a base salary next year. We all expect Galligher to sign another good extension next year in 2040 or after be Franchised for 2041. During his career after spent his first two seasons without a Glory in South Maryland, he was traded to Ohio and in his 95 Games as an Starter during regular season Galligher posted a really good 64.2% of completed passes 19.304 Yards with 122 TD and only 60 Picks for a passer rating of 86.9. In 9 starting games during the Post season Corwin completed 60.1 of his throws with 1728 Yards 13 TD and 5 Interceptions, being specially deadly in the last two play-offs appareances posting 103.7 Rating when the Sharks won the Championship and 90.6 Rating the last year when the Sharks fell against the eventually Champions. As a dual thread Galligher posted 1689 in 280 carries and 9 Touchdown. Without a doubt a No brainer for Sharkn20 to keep his Franchise QB on the town.

          2038 Draft

          * Round 3 Pick 5, WR Orlando Osborne (Georgia)

          After posting an amazing 53 in Position Drill and a whopping 45 in his Solecismic Test, one thing is true Osborne at his young age knows how to play football and how to fin the gaps into the opposite D#. Projected as a slot value WR, Osborne will have time to grow behind Durden, Askin and Connell while helping in ST coverage. He is the classic catch and gain a bunch of yards everytime that the ball is throw to him. Is not going to burn no one going deep but his movements and small frame after the catch will make the opponents look silly trying to tackle him.
