2034 Draft Review - Grade A
With the 2034īs class entering in his contract year letīs make a look back and see who boomed or busted in one of the Drafts that made that team champion in the last OSFLīs Bowl!!
Round 2 Pick 12 --> TE Xander Oliveira (31/51 --> 58/58) Starting TE
#2 Best Tight End in the Class, Oliveira is succesfully filling the shoes of Wayne Chervett, he is an excellent pass catcher who run crisp routes and very good catching balls between the LBs and on the seam, 10 plays of +20 Yards and a 68.6% of caught balls for 1.070 yards and 6 Touchdowns make him very valuable for us. He has been extended already
. Grade A+
Round 2 Pick 25 --> OT Mario Devenny. Retired. Grade F
Round 3 Pick 26 --> DB Chase Young (20/44 --> 37/44) Starting FS
He was Drafted as a CB but his play and bars are more suitable for my "Sky" safety System, so he was moved to FS and behind Hamilton, now in his 4th Year he is going to take the starting role during the firsts games and see how it goes, he did a really nice job as a back-up and specially during the play offs with Hamilton down, we also extended him to a very friendly team contract. But if he sticks as a starter we expect a Hold-out to be paid like starter eventually. Projected Grade A+
Round 4 Pick 26 --> DB Daryl Emmons (18/44 --> 32/37) Back-up SS/CB
Mixed emotions with him, he is good enough to be a back-up and every team needs a back-up, but is not that kind of back-up who is going to save your life... Probably he is going to be extended at some point, cohesion is cohesion, isnīt it?
Grade C
Round 5 Pick 4 --> WR Lukas Baltzer (26/40 --> 32/41) Slot / 4th WR
We expected him to be our slot player, but due the big quality of our WRs corp and the trade for Connell last year from Morgantown, he still be a 4th WR in the rotation, who is good, because is one of the best 4th WRs in the league
, he still need to finish his development, with Castillo and Worsham getting old he is going probably to jump into the slot role during easy games, he is learning and still adjusting to the speed of the OSFL but you can see how in a lot more playing time last year he answered good. Grade B
Round 5 Pick 9 --> C Anthony Wofford (21/43 --> 46/46) Starting Center in Memphis
Wofford is a Subpar starter Center in the OSFL but he is not going to make us better, so that Round pick earned from him is really nice for us and really good luck with the new owner in Memphis, he is going to play well for you as a bridge for your Super Starter Center! Grade B-
Round 5 Pick 26 --> RB Tyrus Jamison (30/37 --> 28/28) Going to be cut
Jamison never played well when had the opportunity and after the drop and not be the positional leader anymore, his Special Teamīs bar probably wonīt save him to be cut in his contract year. Grade E+
Round 6 Pick 6 --> CB Jonah Knox (30/42 --> 60/60) Starting CB
The jewel of the crown in this draft, coming from nowhere we really liked him and he looked in the combines and after the interview, but never expected him to be the Tom Brady of our DBs, Knox is not playing amazing stats football but next to Holliday is making one of the best D# in the league possible, he just signed his $54 Million, 5 Years deal to be our starter of this generation. Love you buddy! Grade A+.
Round 6 Pick 26 --> DE Carl Siever (19/33 --> 16/19) Free Agent
Once saw as a decent all-over back-up plan he panned out after one year out of the OSFL, I donīt think he is going to play a down anymore. But was okay having him 2 years ridding the bench!
Grade D-
Round 7 Pick 27 --> QB Irving Walters. Retired. Grade E.
Undrafted Rookies staying with us
Holder --> QB Harris Devine
Other notables 4th Year players with us
WR Claude Connell (UnDrafted Free Agent from Morgantown)
DE Shane Glover (Drafted by San Francisco 7.10)
NT Donovan MeEachern (Drafted by South Maryland 1.2)
