I'll have more to say here, but RB Roger Salinger retired. End of an era.

2032 turned out to be a changing of the guard in Morgantown that coincides well with the upcoming league shift in 2033.
We saw Roger Salinger play his last days in a Maniac uniform, while splitting time and mentoring youngster Bubba Gerhardt. The footprint Salinger left on the team is impressive and the league is less exciting without him in it. We expect his Maniac records to stand for a long time as the league and team evolves to be more pass-oriented.
Long-time Maniac starter, fan and owner favorite, safety Tyrus Woodson hung up his cleats and accepted a position within the organization as a scout. Woodson was always the unsung hero of the old Maniac secondary with Gentala, La Flamme and Liliedahl receiving all the awards though only because Woodson stalwartly defended center field for more than a decade.
Speaking of Rickey Liliedahl, he continues to perform well, leads a tight secondary and returns punts with the best of them. How many more seasons will we see him on the field? Maniac fans cry from the stands for "four more years" but this reporter doesn't expect him to hang around that long. Still playing some great football the book hasn't entirely been written on Liliedahl just yet.
What do we expect for this next season? After pulling off a stunning five game win streak to take the division in 2032, the young and versatile offense is expected to take center stage in 2033 as Ted Pleasant helms the team with his arm and legs. Heading into the season Pleasant is surrounded by the most versatile weapons in Maniac history with Austin 'Bigfoot' Olsavsky and Paul 'Famous' Famie splitting out wide, Gerhardt running underneath and Rick Durham lining up all over the place creating matchups. Stopping this offense should prove to be difficult.
The defense, which has shown flashes of brilliance, is likely to take center stage in free agency and as we head into the draft. Expect a pass rusher to be added to the team, giving the secondary time to make turnover in 2033, something the team didn't do with great efficiency. An infusion of talent here should allow for some more versatility in the looks opposing offenses see, hopefully leading to a drastic improvement in yardage allowed. It shouldn't take too many players to have a turnaround here and we expect that we will no longer see the Maniac defense ranked towards the bottom of the league.
All in all, as the league shifts into new form in 2033, the Maniacs seem poised to build upon a successful Division title and playoff run to stand atop the league and hoist the trophy this team has yet to hold. The one question mark is if the defense can hold it together well enough. It should make for an exciting season.

It also dropped my starting LT quite a bit, which is a bummer.
Not sure how much of it is staff though.
Oh, and most players suddenly get higher future potential when they turn into FAs. Makes em look better than they maybe are. Tricky, that.
