  • Ohio River Sharks 2031

    New Year, new expectations, this is time to focus into the office, clear the salary cap situation, Draft new players and start the pre-season!!!

    I always love this part of the season!!

    * Franchise --> This 2031 any player will be Franchised

    * Summer League --> We have 5 2nd Year players who will contribute the next season and I think OLB Christian Rafalsky is the best grow/injury risk/ need him healthy ratio option, so after miss the TC last year due a 70 players cut and decent 11.0 Takles per play he will go to Europe this Summer

    * Ticket Prices --> After grew 9% in assistance last year and 17% between the last two years. I want to grab more benefit so the prices will be increased between 5$ and 10$, we need to have the finances in order to grab the better coaches!
    Miami Sharks (BLB)
    * BLB Champions --> 2017, 2020.

    Ohio River Sharks (OSFL)
    * OSFL Bowl CHAMPION > 2036, 2047.

    * Round 1 Pick 11, OLB Derrick Collins from Tennessee

    Changes in Ohio this Year after running a 4-3 defense since 4 Years ago, I think that could dominate better the 3-4 system, and the 1st key is have an excellent pass rush WLB, he have the speed and the strenght to avoid or hit blockers, when I need his help in the SLB in 3 or 4 Years he could fit also really good in that position with his all around skills, so aftres trading the classic trio when I want a player, now this SEC Former Backer is mine.

    Round 1 Pick 23 OG Trevor Didier from Florida

    The Sharks need an inmediate upgrade in the interior of the line with Donald Ford getting older and playing just average football last year, I need a Road Blocker with great strength to open lanes for our stellar RB and protect Chustz from the biggest Tackles in the ACīs Conference. The former Gator, another SEC man, have all the tools to be one to remember someday in Ohio.

    Round 3 Pick 21 OT Antonio Woolley from Wisconsin

    Hell of a guy to grab at the late 3rd Round, canīt understand why he falls until here, power Road Blocker, with great strength and all-american endurance, decent hands to the Pass Block, he could be a great RT in a few years. I am very loaded at OT at this point but he is a canīt pass on him guy, we will see If he sign after TC or pass his 1st Year in the practice squad of the Sharks.

    Round 6 Pick 5 QB Andy Robertson from Wisconsin

    Despite donīt have a reliable arm he have the combine and the Inteligence to make the team, excellent Speed, Agility, Solecismic... He have a bad day at Indianapolis, or simply canīt put the ball in stride to his WRs, we will se in the TC and the Pre-season, he have all the confidence to be our Nš3 signal caller at this moment.

    Round 7 Pick 26 ILB Spencer Dunlap from Tennessee

    After playing with Collins in the University he displays the character and the mechanics to be an excellent run stopper in the Box, he is strong, have the agility to hit and shed the blockers and tackle the running back, with his high volatility could turn into a good back-up.

      After a good start of the Draft for us, grabbing great players with the right Picks (I wish) is time to stop a moment and enjoy a Flashback...

      Is late winter in the real life, 2028īs Draft in the OSFL... Can you feel it??

      The Sharks have at this point a "C" Draft with only one started picked and well and excellent man returner who needs a few breaks to put the ball in da house...

      * 1.24 OT Timothy Loving --> Draft Rating 30/72, Current 58/58.
      Despite were a big dropper he is our RT and no-one will move him after re-sign for 4 more years, he is a great RB with average strength and elite Endurance, recently played his best season, completed 38% of his Blocks, only 0.8 Sack grievance and 13.5 % Opportunities per play.I still waiting his volatility bump (99) so it makes me scare about the re-sign... Graduation "A-"

      * 4.21 WR Wally Gollalic -->
      Draft Rating 18/45, Current 39/39.
      When I Drafted him I expect to could be our Possession WR, but after a decent camp he never made the expected impact, he is now our KR/PR and he play very well this role, in the last season he putted 10.6 Yards per PR and a great 32.3 Yards per KR return, he only put the ball in da house one time last year, and still need a few blockers in ST to do his job even better... Graduation "B"

      * 4.28 OLB Cory Ackerman -->
      Draft Rating 18/30, Not in the OSFL at this point, so he is... Graduation "F"

      * 5.6 WR Dexter "Sweet Sensation" Carman -->
      Draft Rating 27/42, current 25/25.
      Sad history for this Longhorn Former, he have a super camp, maybe due to his volatility history and was the starter 11 games in his Rookie season, then he jumps in the Week 15 in the end-zone versus the safety and the Corner-back in a jump ball and he falls into the turf with a career-threating hip injury, the X-Rays and the MRI showed the worst, he have a hip-degenerative-condition, his hall-of-fame career is over, after spending two years a lot surgeons and rehabilitation he is dressed as a Shark again in this off-season, he had one more year to show that he is capable to play, 40 BPR, 49 AD is not bad to start, no guaranteed money, but he will be in the pre-season for us, just for his courage playing against the adversity... Graduation ŋ?

      * 6.25 MLB Reggie Battle -->
      Draft Rating 13/36, Current 33/33
      Nothing bad with this guy, is just a back-up with the hability to tackle, read the game and drop in coverage, now we will switch to the 3-4 and he will see the field more time, also Chester Farmer is getting older and donīt have more fuel in the tank, He have all-around low bars but is playing over his Ratings so he will stay one more year to show us if he have more inside that his bars show or If we need another guy coming out the bench... Graduation "C"

          Great camp in Ohio this Year! Wooohaaa the youngers almost all creeping and the veterans, except Bust from Dakota (Wizard I hate you) Norton who collide and SS Perkins (Long time starter in Ohio but is time to trust in the young blood) will compete for a play-off spot one more year. Also I found a gem in the back of the 1st Round in the OG from Florida who will play next to Douglas and opposite Marchant to open big lanes for Clyde Grauman!

          Excellent camp for WLB D. Collins, the rookie win +11/+13 in his 1st camp and is the sensation of the Sharks this Year, we can play a 3-4 from now with OīNeall, Capuco, Perkins and him pressuring the QB play after play, and have Randle, Farmer and Graham stopping the run. Great sensations for our defense...

          Now time to make the cuts and put the team in 60 Players!

            2028 was the worst draft class I've ever seen. More players turned out well from later in the draft than I expected but it was a super top heavy draft. I really didn't like that year.

                Weird drop from Norton. +2/-11. I think that's the "my rating is still creeping potential drop" but I'm not an expert at ratings development, so I may be wrong.

                  Good luck for everyone!! This 11 guys have all the confidence in O# and D# to carry the team through 16 ugly and hard games and try to hit the AC East or a Wild Car spot another year!!

                  QB --> Leroy Chustz, 3rd Year, 37/51
                  RB --> Clyde Grauman, 3rd Year, 65/65
                  FB --> Kendrick Middleton, 5th Year, 66/66

                  C ---> Rich Douglas, 10th Year, 71/71
                  RG --> Trevor Didier, Rookie, 48/64
                  RT --> Timothy Loving, 4th Year, 58/58

                  WLB > Derrick Collins, Rookie, 33/45

                  WILB > Chester Farmer, 12th Year, 47/47
                  SILB > Donald Graham, 8th Year, 66/66

                  I think is a very balanced team with young blood and veterans in all the lines, I will see how Cohesion grows from last year with a lot starters playing together again, pretty excited to play the 1st one against a divisional rival and last year AC Eastīs Champion, now at the reins of the CPU!!

                  Go Sharks!!!! Bite them all!!!!

                    Ohio River 31 - Motor City 3

                    Is always good win the 1st game against your divisional rival, but blown they in front their fans is better

                    We dominated all the aspects of the game but need to work in gain more yards, Chustz was lethal in the red zone with three scores but can't move the ball consistevely. I like the young core of the Sharks Grauman topped +100 yards, Worsham, Von Oelhoffen and Wilcox grab a Touchdown. Our young OL protected Chustz and won +150 yards on the ground.

                    In defense 7 Sacks, 5 deflections and a lot hurries and knockdowns. 11th Overall Pick Collins collected 2 Sacks in his 1st game, O'Neal now are only 2 Sacks shy of the All-Time OSFL's career record. Our LBs are tackling machines and our secondary played as a solid group leaded by Holliday.

                    Happy woth that 1st game, despite be a CPU Team I think that we have some potential this year... Now host SMD and his new manager!

                    Go Sharks!!

                          Unfortunately I think I'm more like the Tarvaris Jackson Seahawks over here in Dakota. :)
