2024 Draft:
1.11 OLB Sedrick Sullivan (57/84)
Another defensive playmaker that will fill in for the aging Perry Caldwell. Our front seven is scary good, and if our secondary plays like it did two years ago our defense will be dominant
2.43 WR JJ Pierce (22/46)
There was a hell of a run on WR in the first round, and I didn't get the guy I wanted here, but JJ has good size/speed. His bars look good, but we'll wait and see what happens after training camp.
2.45 CB Nathan Donaldson (15/33)
Seems like a definite masked bars with a high punishing hitter/zone d/special teams. His 40 time worries me, but we'll see after camp.
All other picks were traded to Portland for QB Eddie Castillo. Hopefully Castillo is the QB to put me over the top. I passed on a lot of good WR in the first round to take Sullivan, but that was before I made the trade for Castillo. He doesn't have a ton of weapons to work with at WR, but between Rufus Glover, Donald Bullock, and Archie Kirk we may be able to turn the corner offensively.
