  • Ride or die in 22

dissapointment would be an understatement for 2021 after an 11 win season the riders fell falt when tom skeen pulled a hmstring and rooke Frodo Oglethorpe was forced into on the job training. the running game was not as effective as the stats would indicate with the retirement of ethan fox and karl mackenzie we lost a LOT of cohesion woith 3 new starters and it showed in a lot of those 3rd and short plays we "lost". The 2 rookie starters did well RG Ernie Morris and LT Bart Lockheart started all but 1 game and each allowed only 3 sacks.

The defense will have to be addressed this ofseason most notably the front 7 all 4 starters are 30 or older rookie DT rick barrett looked good in a backup roll notching 3.5 sacks and DE donovan hopper played well as a pass rush specialist. the other glaring weakness is at MLB Mitchell Griffith has been the teams leading tackler 3 of the last 4 years and for his ratings 36/36 weve gotten lots of production but we have been too cheap to upgrade hes going into his 10th year and were wondering when this well will run dry.

the season finished on a high note winning 2 of our last 3 dashing the playoff hopes of a resurgent los alamos and a game brooklyn team. inspite of him staying 33/73 the whole season rico improved mosty in the catagory of not forcing the ball into Alfred morrision 20 times a game. Morrison had nearly 200 targets and put up pro bowl numbers again making his 4th in 5 years.

all in all the outlook is bright rico has grown (metaphorically instead of physically) and lookd to fufill the promise that made him the #2 overall pick. the coachin staff must continue to mold the offense to fit him as they did the last few games of the season to give him the best oppertunity to win.

this team has talent but now its got to dilever with teh aging d line there isint much time left.

We resigned "the Gambler" and brought in a new D cooridinator. cause the next few years we need to get younger on d and developing that talent will be key. the next 3 years will be key. its truly ride or die as a lot of the "conerstone" players will retire soon

good news Isaac Andrews is coming back to extend his all time sack lead
