Draft 2021
First draft of the new era for the Jaguars, and my first draft in a MP League. We had a lot of needs, almost in every position except DL and RB.
1.5 S Nate Sinclair (44/76) - I had two other optiones here, ILB Vinny Sims and CB Frederick Corutney. Finally I took him because the draft was deeper in LB and CB than S. Very happy with this pick, and he can be starter since the first week. Also he can return kickoffs, and that means more rest for Isaac Staat.
2.5 ILB Leroy Preston (34/53) - Like I said, had good LB available. The first impression isn't bad, though I expect he will be better. Best solecismic score and bench press among all the LB have to mean something.
3.5 WR Clay Cassidy (26/43) - BPR in the 50s, seems a possesion guy and I like that. I only expect he improve a little in RR, his solecisimic score says he have to be better there.
4.5 QB Carlton McKenzie (5/45) - He wasn't my first choice. I even didn't interview him, but I need a QB sooner or later, and he was the BPA at the position. If he stay in the 40s, he could be useful but really don't expect he improve, it would be a surprise if he does.
5.5 T Tony Flannery (14/41) - I have two other choices before him, T Tito Kramer and RB Neil Clayton, but both of them came a few picks earlier. I don't know if someone had him on the radar, but with Tito Kramer off the pool, I don't wanna risk. The first impression is good, let's see after the TC.
6.5 OLB Timothy Walker (13/21) - Maybe the only dissapointment before the TC. I'm running a 4-3, so I'm not looking for a pass rusher here, his biggest lack. He had great combines in solecisimic score and bench press. Let's see after TC, I still have hope for an improvement.
7.5 CB Lamont Wiggin (22/43) - My first choice was Cris Donovan, but he wasn't available in this round. Bad agility and broad jump nothing out of normal for some CB. Big punishing hitter, and maybe a masked pair in ZD/ST.
I'm not sure if I'm happy or not with my draft, only sure with my 1st and 2nd round picks. Maybe also the 3rd round pick, and I have a good feeling with Flannery.
