    Draft 2021

First draft of the new era for the Jaguars, and my first draft in a MP League. We had a lot of needs, almost in every position except DL and RB.

1.5 S Nate Sinclair (44/76) - I had two other optiones here, ILB Vinny Sims and CB Frederick Corutney. Finally I took him because the draft was deeper in LB and CB than S. Very happy with this pick, and he can be starter since the first week. Also he can return kickoffs, and that means more rest for Isaac Staat.

2.5 ILB Leroy Preston (34/53) - Like I said, had good LB available. The first impression isn't bad, though I expect he will be better. Best solecismic score and bench press among all the LB have to mean something.

3.5 WR Clay Cassidy (26/43) - BPR in the 50s, seems a possesion guy and I like that. I only expect he improve a little in RR, his solecisimic score says he have to be better there.

4.5 QB Carlton McKenzie (5/45) - He wasn't my first choice. I even didn't interview him, but I need a QB sooner or later, and he was the BPA at the position. If he stay in the 40s, he could be useful but really don't expect he improve, it would be a surprise if he does.

5.5 T Tony Flannery (14/41) - I have two other choices before him, T Tito Kramer and RB Neil Clayton, but both of them came a few picks earlier. I don't know if someone had him on the radar, but with Tito Kramer off the pool, I don't wanna risk. The first impression is good, let's see after the TC.

6.5 OLB Timothy Walker (13/21) - Maybe the only dissapointment before the TC. I'm running a 4-3, so I'm not looking for a pass rusher here, his biggest lack. He had great combines in solecisimic score and bench press. Let's see after TC, I still have hope for an improvement.

7.5 CB Lamont Wiggin (22/43) - My first choice was Cris Donovan, but he wasn't available in this round. Bad agility and broad jump nothing out of normal for some CB. Big punishing hitter, and maybe a masked pair in ZD/ST.

I'm not sure if I'm happy or not with my draft, only sure with my 1st and 2nd round picks. Maybe also the 3rd round pick, and I have a good feeling with Flannery.

What did Cassidy's intelligence rating say?

      88.

It has any use for the receivers? I only know his use for avoid ints, and penalties (?)

Oh I didn't know it had use for penalties!

With receivers, the sole is split two ways, between intelligence and RR. So it should be basically like QBs and avoid interceptions, only maybe a bit more straightforward.

I'm not sure about the penalties, I read it somewhere but never confirmed, only a supposition. That's why I put the question mark :P

I'll comment this game cause a need it :P

            Las Vegas 22 - S. Maryland 20

In the first half, like always we started bad, with some unlucky plays.

2Q, Las Vegas drive, in our 28yd or so. 3rd down, we sack his QB and put him out of FG range, but no, Illegal use of hands, automatic first down, and a few plays later TD for Las Vegas.

Next play, kickoff, returned 28 yds, but no, fumble, our 5th in three games. Few plays later 2nd TD for Las Vegas. And with that we are 14-0.

This time at least we can connect some good drive and score our firsts two TD in the season... But before that, another "silly/unlucky" play. 17-7, in our 2 yd, and the QB throw a screen pass for -2 yds and safety, perfect. That's maybe my fault, and I have to make some tweaks in gameplan adjustment but well...

This is not ended. 19-14, 8 minutes left, we stop his offense in his own 4yd, they punt, still have a chance two score the winning TD, fair catch in Las Vegas 45yd, but no, Roughing the kicker, 15 yd penalty and automatic 1st down. Unbelievable.

But then happens some sort of miracle, we are in our own red zone trying to win desesperatly, but we go over downs. They run two times, and then fumble, 78 yds and TD...

We were winning 19-20, I couldn't believe it. But of course, this was only the fate playing with us. We fail the two-point conversion. They return the ball until his 47 yd, they score a FG.

And to finish, 19 seconds left, our QB convert a 32yds pass. Time out, 12 seconds left, we are in his 35 yd, still some time to try to gain some yds and try for a 40+ yd FG, but no, the AI decides that we are good there, and tries for a 52 yd FG. Of course, we fail and we lose.

Conclusion, we are going straight to 0-16 and 1.1 pick...
