  • Columbus Draft

I know I didn't do a draft thread after the draft, but I did want to take note of one player from our draft that is impressing me.

    Bert Nield - 1(28) - TE.

I do not remember his immediate post draft ratings, but since the season began, he's increased his current value, and just now his 77/77. While he does have a crumby 38 BPR, I'll be curious to see if that increases once he starts creeping passed 77. 11 games in, and he's hit his future rating, and is only gained a "C" exp (gstelmack tools). He should end up somewhere over 80, possibly mid 80's by seasons' end, then decline immediately after the season to a number a bit more realistic.

Then expand Icy Base, and choose "Positional Experience Letters".

Heh, as expected, he shot past 80, and ended the season at 83/83. Close enough to "mid 80's" for me. And after the season, he dipped back to 80/80 which is where he is now.

          It's almost like I'm psychic!!

Oh, and BPR bar didn't move at all that I recall.

Probably because you already had picked your stud player around that position of the draft. Who was your player? Dunno, but he was probably pretty good anyway. ;)
