I just imported and it went to the staff draft (next season). I never did the EOS, yet I'm not getting any "missing data file" message. I should be good then, I'm guessing.

Yeah, once I press "End Season", it rolls over to the next season. The first stage is Staff Draft, so your exports for this stage will be extensions for your current staff and preferences for hiring new staff.

This is your one and only chance to retain coaches on the last year of their deal, so don't miss it!

Staff draft confuses me.

If I'm set to 0, and my coach has 3 more years I'm good right?

What about set to 100 and 3 more years?

And with renegotiations if I don't extend do I get a new coach no matter what? It says 1 year so does he have one year left?

I think 0 is "don't replace" and 100 is "try everything you can to replace".

If you don't extend you don't necessarily get a new coach (you still could, if you want), but your coach will be on the market when his contract years end. If he has 1 year left, that means next offseason he'll be on the market.

I read there's also some game logic where teams that do badly enough are going to see their staff fired regardless of what they want.

I believe it's only AI teams that jettison their coaching staff entirely. The game isn't going to do that without you setting everything to 100.

Incorrect. If your team does bad enough, especially for consecutive seasons, it will replace coaches. Even if you don't have your settings at 0

Where do I put this file - I missed it...

In your leagues\OSFL2007 folder, but you can't have missed it -- it's the current stage. Just "import stage files".

People who miss importing this stage before the next sim on Monday will miss this file.

Hmmm, I imported and exported and I still get the error. I guess I'll try it again.

Edit: Nope no stats. Oh well. Says save game file is missing.

That's odd, because the .2035 file is sitting in the export folder on the server (I just checked).

Haha, I have no idea what to do with all that. I'll just live without the stats.

This game UI and file set-up is not friendly at all. If I start messing around I know my game won't run anymore.

You can't live without the stats! That error will pop up every single time you click on a player!

Let's get this fixed. Again, just importing this stage should have given you the .2035 file so I wonder what's up.

Do you know where your leagues folder is? If you run Win7 or Win8 it should be:

C:\Users\your_user_name\appdata\roaming\Solecismic Software\Front Office Football Seven\leagues\OSFL2007

Take all of the files with Year Number endings (.2006 through .2035) and place them in that folder if they aren't already there.
