    <span style='border-bottom:1px solid #322;padding: 0 0.5em;'>Setup Guide</span>

    In FOF7, setting up MP games is somewhat easier than it's been in the past. First, make sure you're patched up to 7.0b (released March, 2014).

    Start the game and click on the Multi Player Icon:

    <img src='http://www.simgamingnetwork.com/osfl/images/osflsetup/mpicon.jpg' alt='The Multi Player Mode icon' title='MP Mode Icon'>

    In the Multi Player Menu that appears, click on "Enter New Career" to begin:

    <img src='http://www.simgamingnetwork.com/osfl/images/osflsetup/initialsetup.jpg' style='' title="The Begin With option doesn't really matter, but Begin Without Draft skips a meaningless screen.">

    Our league name is, case sensitive, OSFL2007.

    1. Click "Begin Without Draft" and select your team based on the following table:<div style='width:80%;margin: 1em auto 0 auto'>
    Spoiler
    </div>You'll now be prompted to enter FTP credentials. Don't (yet). Click "Cancel" and ignore any messages it gives you; those are for new leagues only.

    2. Instead, download the OSFL Setup Files.zip -- these will give you the team names, logos, and previous season data you'll need.

    3. Copy the contents of the .ZIP's OSFL2007 folder into your own <span style='color:#666;font-weight:bold''>leagues\OSFL2007</span> folder. If you can't find it, enter this into the Run Dialog (Windows + R on the keyboard) or in the address bar of any Windows Explorer window:

    <div style='width:80%;margin: 1em auto 0 auto'>
    Code:
    %APPDATA%\Solecismic Software\Front Office Football Seven\leagues\OSFL2007
    </div>
    4. Back to the game window, click "Import Initial Game Files" from the same Multi Player Menu as before, and select the OSFL2007 league. This time, enter the FTP information as prompted.

    This will download the league files, and when that's done, you'll be asked for the Team Password which the commissioner has provided.

    5. And now, you're in! Treat yourself to a cold one. You deserve it.

    When the commissioner announces that a sim has been run, open up your OSFL2007 game, and click "Import Game Files." Then, when you're done managering, click "Export." That's all there is!

    A new game, a new guide. Let me know if I've messed anything up here or got any of the steps wrong.

            Trying to get this set up, I bought my game through steam and it is version 7.1b. Also I don't see anything called spoiler, so I am a little lost. This may be because I was playing with game and changed the city names to make it feel like I was playing a new league. I only see those names.

                I have followed directions exactly as stated and do not see anything that says spoiler or show. I may have to get someone that lives in U.S. to leave me a phone # so I can call them, I am totally lost. Going to try again from beginning to make sure I did not goof up somewhere.

                  Hey, I'll try to help you get set up. The info you need from the spoiler tags is:

                  Team to pick initially if you're Las Vegas:

                  Arizona (or whatever you changed Arizona to)

                  Location of the folder to unzip your downloaded stuff:

                  C:\users\(username)\AppData\Roaming\Solecismic Software\Front Office Football Seven\leagues\OSFL2007

                    I get to the C:\users\ira and that is it AppData is not there. I also tried searching for OSFL2007.fpo or what ever the ext was. Apparetly my computer is not making this file or pathway. Any other suggestions of what I should do? I have also tried starting from beginning again.

                    I have tried 3 times the game says it is being backed up too C:\Users\Ira\AppData\Roaming\Solecismic Software\Front Office Football Seven\export\OSFL2007\OSFL2007.00Q. which is different than what you have listed butit does not exist when I look for it or search for it.

                    If you need screenshots give me your e-mail addy and I will send 1 of what game says and another showing the dictory does not exist.

                      Appdata is usually a hidden file. If you don't have hidden files showing you won't see it. I had the same issue when I first got started.

                        Your folder is C:\Users\Ira\AppData\Roaming\Solecismic Software\Front Office Football Seven\leagues\OSFL2007\

                        Open up windows explorer and type that into the address bar. It'll be there -- like sirem says, it's hidden by default.

                        Yeah, the first setup can be a bear, but we'll get through it!
