    My predictions:

    Kerr will indeed be better than Fletcher. Fletcher looks to take a post-camp drop and level off as back-up material. Kerr will have a little bump.

    However, look further down to my guy Logan for the best DE in the 2nd round.

    On the other hand, maybe I should stop being so full of myself after what happened to my draft in the CyFL. If something similar happens here then I expect both of my 1st round picks to die at TC.

      TC report:

      1 - 15 Bobby Wrighster CB - 38/64 (+7/-4)
      1 - 20 Kurt McCloud CB - 39/60 (+7/+9)
      2 - 19 Emmanuel Logan DE - 27/46 (+4/+5)
      2 - 26 Kendall Downs ILB - (32/55) (+6/0)
      3 - 10 Melvin Brunell P - 90/92 (+0/-2)
      3 - 18 Skip Harper TE - 29/50 (+3/-4)
      3 - 20 Tito Reese G - 30/57 (+3/+2)
      4 - 17 Carlos Melnick WLB - 19/37 (+5/+4)
      5 - 16 Jerald Chandler DE - 22/36 (+3/-2)
      6 - 15 Arnold Plummer ILB - 14/32 (+2/+0)
      7 - 14 Marshall Joyner DT - 16/43 (+3/-1)

      Notable undrafted players:

      Kerry Surratt DE - 22/43 (+4/+13)
      Lionel Cook DE - 34/45 (+6/+3)
      Gerald Orlaskey RB - 33/52 (+2/-5)

      I'm pretty happy with this draft. Actually, all things considered, pretty ecstatic. The only disappointment was Wrighster but he still took a pretty big jump in current value and is still not very developed. My hope is that he will do like 2nd year WR Bart Ross and shake off his 1st TC to become a solid #2.

      I say #2 because McCloud is our clear cut #1 and possibly the best corner in this draft. Scott is pretty incredible and looks to develop into a low 80s corner but McCloud is going to be right there with him. It will be interesting to watch who has the better career. I definitely feel like I stole something at the 1-20.

      Outside of the 1st round, we pick up 5 starters (so maybe 7 starters in total). And an interesting group of undrafted FAs to say the least. Was Surratt a volatility boom? How much further can Cook boom? Orlaskey drops but may still be a useful RB. Probably another starter out of this undrafted group - maybe more if I am lucky.

      And at least no volatility hit for us... For example, I feel bad for Morgantown and Ty Fletcher. That guy was going to be a beast. And I have been on the other end of those volatility hits. Not fun.

          Yeah, it's crazy. His volatility is only average, but he ended up dropping the third most out of all players (-15/-18). I'm just baffled by how much his strength dropped.

          I'm wondering if I should count myself lucky that he doesn't seem to want to sign a contract. Might just not offer him one now.

          Other than that my draft looks pretty solid. I'm happy RB Diblaiso went up 8/2 to 46/58 as I was afraid his potential was going to drop. Looks like I got my starter ... though once again I should mention that I'm kicking myself even more for not taking Cucumber at 1.6.

            Yep, that's pretty unlucky with his volatility. He had stud written all over him. I suspect that he still creeps - maybe into 50ish territory. On the other hand, you may want to revisit your drafting strategy. I don't care how good he is, no guard is worth the 1.6. If you left him at LT there may have been an argument, but even outside of Cucumber there were better choices there.

            Also, anyone will sign if you offer them the lowest term, highest priced contract. Just a tip.

              1.28 DT Gary Grabulis 47/58 -> 53/60 (+6/+2) - About what I expected, but I was certainly fearing the worst.
              2.27 WR Gino Wooden 45/59 -> 49/56 (+4/-3) - Excellent. Not a boom, but was really dreading a -6 or -8. Our WR corps just got really young and deep.
              3.28 QB Kendall Shea 8/52 -> 12/45 (+4/-7) - Drat. Complete miss.
              4.27 WR Rondell Corbett 33/48 -> 38/47 (+5/-1) - Sweet. Excellent punt returner to boot.
              5.28 RB Kurt Perez 28/45 -> 30/43 (+2/-2) - Very good. Looks decent enough to spell McGee, and a high ST makes him even more useful.
              6.27 RCB Levon Broemer 27/52 -> 31/49 (+4/-3) - I'll take it for a 6th. Looks like a decent nickelback.
              7.28 WR Danny Russell 20/42 -> 22/43 (+2/+1) - Nice. Shot in the dark pays off.

              Outstanding draft. I don't think I've hit on that many WRs in all my other drafts combined. Yes, they're just -3, -1, and +1, but they all look like players. Grabulis will be a rock. Perez & Broemer will get lots of playing time.

              Shea was the only complete whiff, and I didn't really need a QB, so I'm not hurt there.

                1(5)--FL Tyrus "Tex" Dennis (20/27-->24/34): Great combines, including a 4.33 40. 100 BPR. He will put up great ypt numbers. I'll use him as WR3 at the beginning of the year, maybe WR2 by the time the season is over.

                  1.6 - T Ty Fletcher 28/57 -> 13/40 (-15/-17) I think I've said enough about him.

                  2.17 - CB Jorge Beyer 22/58 -> 24/50 (+2/-8) Well, the -8 certainly isn't what I wanted to see from him, but he should still end up staying on the team for a few years.

                  3.17 - WR Cris Randle 17/43 -> 19/39 (+2/-4) Not quite as large as a dropoff, but I'm still happy with his combination 3rd down receiving and having better hands than Daluiso.

                  3.17 - RB Greg Diblasio 38/56 -> 46/58 (+8/+2) And here is my big winner from TC. I was prepared for him to drop a few points and still be happy. Seeing him jump up so much means he'll be starting for me for the foreseeable future. Not the stud that Cucumber may be, but I wanted to add speed to my backfield and I think I did just that.

                  4.6 - G Moe Gibson 22/49 -> 26/50 (+4/+1) I'm happy with this too as I thought I might have reached a little for him in the top of the 4th. I moved him to Center and he'll be my backup for this year and probably take over the starting gig next year.

                  5.5. - TE Henry Newhart 22/40 -> 25/41 (+3/+1) Needed a TE and Newhart certainly isn't a bust, but after seeing Debaere (the other TE I was considering) go +6/+7 I'm not as happy.

                  6.7 - LB Glen Bost 22/40 -> 26/41 (+4/+1) I wanted a solid backup LB and I believe I found just that.

                  7.6 - S Jerome White 16/62 -> 19/55 (+3/-7) Well, I expected him to dropoff a bit as I thought the 62 potential was a bit high. Not thrilled he dropped off quite as much as he did, but I still like the look of him as a 7th round pick. Certainly not a waste of a pick.

                    1.30 - DT Carlos Prescott - (28/65 --> 32/64) - Prescott didn't wow in camp, although he looks to be a very solid DT and should be worth this pick when its all said and done. Since we will continue using the 3-4, he will likely sit most of this year as we look to get him some experience in the summer league before unleashing him. An injury would force our hand of course, but he is likely to see fewer than 100 snaps this year otherwise.

                    2.29 - MLB Ron Monroe - (27/49 --> 31/49) - Monroe shows up also pretty much as advertised, and will be a strong depth LB until replacing one of our current MLBs sometime within a few years.

                    3.30 - FB Hunter Nichols - (36/62 --> 41/58) - Somewhat surprised by this drop, but Nichols still projects as our FB of the future if he doesn't continue dropping like this. He should be a decent weapon as a receiver in the future.

                    4.12 - OLB Sean Mendes - (23/50 --> 28/50) - Mendes was a solid get in the 4th. He looks to be as good or better than Monroe. Another thing he and Monroe have in common is they are both future picks who will not see much action unless injuries deplete our corps.

                    5.30 - C Andrew Shepard - (20/34 --> 24/35) - Shepard is ok, he will likely be inactive much of the year but we may keep him active instead of going with three TE's. In those cases he will long snap, but will not see much action otherwise.

                    6.29 - CB Chad Blanchett - (15/46 --> 19/45) - Blanchett continues the trend for us in selecting players who are basically exactly as advertised in this draft. He might actually work his way into a nickel role in the future, but given the other CBs with more experience, Blanchett is likely to be no better than a dime back this year.

                    7.30 - RB Kenneth Harvey - (32/45 --> 33/42) - Harvey had one good development this camp, showing he was much more elusive than advertised. He might make it as a change of pace back for a year or two until something better comes along. He and FA pickup Kenny will battle it out with the age-addled Dean Boshier and Ian Webster. We might not have any back with more than 500 yards this year.

                    My overall impression of this draft hasn't changed, this was a C+ draft at best, but may show itself to be more valuable in 2-3 years when we finally start seeing most of them in action. It is odd that the last pick we made, probably our worst pick, will likely see more time than anyone else we picked up in this draft. Looking forward to trying to topple that monolithic Columbus team when this season shakes itself into focus.

                      At first glance it was a pretty good camp for us. Some of the veterans took hits and that may be a problem, but others held fairly well. A lot of risers among the rookies, but another blown 2nd round pick in that RB...

                      1.29 SLB Norbert Slaten - 23/42->28/49 (+5/+7) Maybe my best first round pick ever. I'm very pleased especially that I managed to trade down from 1.18 or something, and still get a premier LB. Lots of good LBs in this draft, but I like the one I ended up with. Plus, he really allows me to unload Higgs.

                      2.05 DE Robbie Kerr - 19/44->23/47 (+4/+3) I traded up quite a bit to get him. Probably would not get him had I stayed back, but Denver's DE a few spots ahead of my original position is going to be better. I'm surprised about Fletcher, but probably would have gone with him had he been available. The oversight here is that he's a conflict with my defensive front leader. Well, it would have been worse with both Higgs and Kerr.

                      2.24 C Stephen Wells - 23/66->28/68 (+5/+2) A good camp out of him and he shoul be a very good one for some time. Really pleased with this pick. Needed a center badly (last year, too).

                      2.30 RB Glen Plummer - 29/54->29/48 (-0/-6) Ah, here it is. I tried to unload this pick, but no takers. Obviously there were many better options here (including RB Greg Diblaisio, who was taken in another pick I traded away), but none of them were on my radar, so hard to feel too bad in retrospect. Most expensive decent kick returner ever.

                      4.10 CB Chuck Horton - 11/27->16/32 (+5/+5) Man - did you guys see the boom the corner taken at 4.09 had? I am very bad with drafting for the secondary, but I had a good feeling about this one. In the 'he'll be decent' sense.

                      6.20 CB Donnie Berlat - 10/20->13/22 (+3/+2) He looked like he would rise some. 2 is not a lot, but we'll s how this goes. Unfortunately, does not look like he can cover man-on-man at all. Not sure I have room for him.

                      7.19 SS Kevin Cate - 16/26->17/28 (+1/+2) While I'm pleased he also rose some, I'm not sure there's a ton of room for him. I'm already looking to stock five safeties with a punt return specialist among them. But this guy is not done rising yet.

                      UFA WR Joey Puente 7/12->8/14 (+1/+2) Cut. Not enough

                      UFA LT Joel Emmons 20/46->22/42 (+2/-4) If I carry four tackles, he could be my backup LT.

                      UFA K Vinny Philcox 47/65->47/62 (-0/-3) This will make things very interesting....he just might stick!

                      UFA SILB Chester Delgado 14/30->15/27 (+1/-3) He looks lik a usless defender, but a special teams ace. Will be very hard to cut him and I've got to find a way to keep him around.

                      UFA DT Billy Johns 22/32->25/35 (+3/+3) Passed on so many DTs in the draft, because I thought I could get somone in FA. Pretty low ratings, but I think he could be a good backup. I let Emmanuel Snyder go a while back and he's still climbing in ratings. So who knows how far up Johns could go. Probably not more than 40, but makes me feel good about passing on those DTs.

                      I see 3 starters and a couple of useful backups. It isn't too bad, but with 3 second round picks, I should have done better.
