  • 2019 Draft Order

Here is my estimate of the 2019 draft order. If a tie-breaker is needed, I put the team's winning % in brackets:

    1) Motor City 2-12
    2) S. Maryland 3-13 (.492)
    3) Chicago 3-13 (.516)
    4) Charlotte 3-13 (.586)
    5) St. Paul 4-12 (.516)
    6) Morgantown 4-12 (.543)
    7) Pheonix 4-12 (.547)
    8) Ohio Valley 5-11 (.496)
    9) Los Vegas 5-11 (.520)
    10) Los Alamos 6-10 (.492)
    11) Boston 6-10 (.520)
    12) Kalispel 6-10 (.539)
    13) Memphis 7-9
    14) Brooklyn 8-8 (.469)
    15) Waco 8-8 (.477)
    15) San Francisco 8-8 (.477)
    17) New Orleans 8-8 (.488)
    17) Denver 8-8 (.488)
    19) Utah 8-8 (.516)
    20) North Liberty 8-8 (.535)
    21) Port City 9-7 (.465)
    22) Anchorage 9-7 (.535)
    23) Pearl Habor 10-6
    24) Lake County 11-5 (.445)
    25) Gainesville 11-5 (.473)
    26) Portland 11-5 (.488)
    27) Camden 12-4
    28) Punxsutawney 13-3 (.461)
    29) Washington 13-3 (.512)
    30) Dakota 14-2 (.418)
    31) Yuma 14-2 (.500)
    32) Columbus 15-1

I should start doing a disclaimer on these... Something like this is just for entertainment purposes and I assume no liability if I'm wrong. ;-)

Anyhow, bowl winner and runner up are automatically 31-32 so that could mess with things. Let me know if you see any mistakes. Also, if someone wants to check on who has swapped picks, I will fill that in, too.

Somehow I don't think the quality selection I had at 10 or 11 will be there this year. haha

The tiebreaker is strength of schedule. Easiest way to figure it is go to the power ratings, sort by opponents' %, then by record. Only thing that changes on your list would be Denver picks ahead of New Orleans.

          Gardner is so good.

You picked a star when you drafted him.

I know, that's the % next to the team (if a tiebreaker is needed). How do you figure that Denver picks ahead of New Orleans? I have a tie (.488) for strength of schedule on those two teams.

Or, more specifically, when Andrew took Canada instead.

Wasn't it Hoosier who took Canada?

No problem. I just thought maybe you knew something that I didn't.

It may have been... I know Andrew took over Boston early in Canada's career. Maybe he wasn't actually the one who drafted him though.

Gardner is a stud. Baines looks like a legit QB. I hope the best player in the draft is a position of need. I'm chock full of them, so it should be.

If the best player in the draft is a stud QB, I think I can make the 1.1 worthwhile for you.
