Combines Combines Combines. His strong personality is something we need in the defensive backfield, but his leadership is pretty low. If you look at his combine skills, I think he's the best corner prospect in the draft. Scout's solid at defensive backs, so I'll take an "as scouted". Low risk pick that fills a glaring need.
Now, after a careful inspection of our roster, and you'll see some pretty sad sacks pretending to be corners. If we don't start piecing a defensive backfield together, we'll never compete with the elite in the OSFL.
He may be a little short, but he's only an inch or two away from normal, and I've always said, it ain't the size, it's how you use it.
