    Renaming a team?

    So what are the rules for renaming teams and changing team colors?

    Not sure if we have any rules. When I joined I think they told me to wait at least one season but by that time my team name and colors had grown on me and I have left them the same.
    OSFL: Lake County Extreme 2008-2028, 2010 Champions
    BLB: Morgantown MoHawks
    BBA: Star City Shooters

      Sammage, if you want to re-do things, I don't have a problem with it.

        Okay, putting this out here so Hoosier can see it and adjust his graphic accordingly.

        I think we all (well any of you who know me) know where I'm headed.

        Name: Gainesville Gators
        Colors: Orange/Blue/White

        I'm working on a uniform in the NCAA team builder still.

        In the meantime...here's one of our cheerleader candidates. What do you think?

            No, I have that...I thought you might be doing graphics for in game and website as well as helmets. :) I forget nothing!!!

                Aww, that's a bit sad. The Gainsville Gaels and all their history are turning into the Florida Gators.

                  Heh...sorry about that, but as a Gator I just can't run a team whose colors seem to be red and yellow. It's just genetically impossible. So the colors had to go...and as long as it's a Gainesville team and the colors are changing the Gators just seemed natural to my reptile brain.

                  Besides, I'm horrible at this game so whatever great history the team had before is about to be trashed and having a new name is better for the fans who loved rooting for a winning team. Nothing worse than seeing a storied franchise brought low.
