Hang on, is this one of the files that tells the 32 teams' city names? If so, you could move the OSFL frfoot files out of the folder, load up a new career in SP that will have the default names. Go in and make some changes (i.e, 'New England Colonials' to 'New England Patriots'), save, and two of those files should be there (.fcy, .fni). I believe it's the .fgr file that isn't but I don't think that one matters.
No, the fni and fgr files that show up when you (I) do that. The fcy doesn't. I have no idea what has to be done to get the fcy to show up, but it's all moot as the file you uploaded worked perfectly. Now I can get my new Morgantown team loaded up and start playing with you guys.
I extracted all the league files from the first post but when it came time to do the Stevens Cup Complete export, I skipped over that and extracted the latest sim file instead.
It now gives me this error:
Unable to load depth chart data file. Saved game file is missing if you are joining a multi-player league mid-year, ensure your commish sends you the league's .fpx file.
Toronto Canadians - 2004- Brewmaster's Cup Champions: 2022 Domestic League Champions: 2021, 2022 Ale Division Champions: 2021, 2022 DL Wildcard: 2019, 2020 Davenport Brawlers - 1988 to 1998 Bock Division Champions: 1988, 1989, 1991, 1992, 1995
That is super weird. Never even heard of this .fpx file. Only thing I can think of, maybe all the files got extracted the wrong folder somehow? Did you manage to find the right folder under Windows 7?
Looks like you are missing the original season files, as well as the FPX (don't know what it is still) and OSFL2007.0xx (where xx is your team number; mine is 23), OSFL2007.xxP, OSFL2007.xxQ files.
I don't know where these come from, I can only guess that they are made when you do 'Enter New Career' and enter your team name/password. Not sure what is happening!
Ok, maybe this is a stupid question. But where do I get the latest cities file? If I use the one posted by Nutah above I am Davenport instead of Denver... Plus all sorts of other weird cities appear.
