  • Re-entering the draft

As a public service announcement, here are the players who re-entered the draft, and their pre-TC OVRs. I didn't look at post TC overalls but I assume there's no real changes, since they didn't sign and go through TC. Correct me if I'm wrong.

I'm not sure players get better or worse in a year, or exactly what happens to them if they miss a whole year and re-enter the draft, but I am guessing they are the same players.

Anyway, I thought I'd post this up, given that it's public information but takes a little digging to find. Helps even the playing ground as we enter this year's draft.

Is there any way we can put human teams on auto for the training camp sim if they don't submit or request in advance not to be auto-ed? Could help to avoid guys like Newman from St. Paul not playing the whole year after being drafted 10th, or Dixon Lowe from Denver. I feel these guys really shouldn't be in this year's draft pool.

St. Paul has always been on auto. Not a clue why they didn't sign their draft pick.

Does FOF do regression by years in the league or DOB? If DOB, which makes a lot more sense, then it's worth red flagging some of these guys for being old...I didn't check everyone here, but I looked through a few today and it jumped out to me that TE Tommie Kobeski is 28. CB Roosevelt Douthard is 26, and S Corey Sanders will turn 26 at the end of the year.

I don't know stats on this in the NFL, but Sebastian Vollmer (OT - Pats) was 25 when he was drafted last year and Mike Anderson (RB - Broncos) was 26 when he was drafted many years ago. So these ages stood out to me as outliers. Doesn't make them undraftable at all, just make sure not to be surprised a couple years down the line when your third year TE is hitting 30! Does the game take into account that he doesn't have that much wear and tear?
