Nine seasons and one week in and we are left with only seven players who have managed to start every single regular season game since the league began. So which one will be the last man standing?
QB Nick Pipkin, Lake County
82/82 Age: 32
By far the best player on this list. Pipkin has never been seriously hurt and the biggest threat to his starting job might be if the Xtreme were to lock up home field advantage early.
QB Martin Cothran, Camden
35/35 Age: 36
Feet of lead, everything else must be solid iron. Not only has he been sacked more than 400 times, he's also the league's all time leader in rush attempts by a QB. If the team struggles, he could well get yanked to give young Casey Baumgartner some development time.
RB Cedric Pint, Camden
44/44 Age: 31
Tied for youngest player on this list, but he's also a running back so you need measure that in dog years. Even if he stays healthy he could lose his job to first round pick Alan Webber some time this year.
C Tim Woodson, Gainesville
62/62 Age: 34
The oldest of the three interior linemen on this list, but he has the best job security of the bunch. Barring injury we should expect to see Woodson snapping the ball to QB Dusty Galloway (who missed his first game in week 15 of last year) all season long.
LG Macey Forbes, Denver
45/45 Age: 33
Once one of the best guards in the league, Forbes might now only be the 3rd best guard on his team. Darell Coleman could take his job at any time.
LG Craig Boyer, Dakota
46/46 Age: 32
Boyer's hurt, so we'll probably see his streak end this week.
OLB Rufus Mobley, Yuma
60/60 Age: 31
Mobley and Pint share the same birthday (April 15th, 1985), they also share an amazing ability to avoid injury while playing a position notorious for hard hits. Rufus moved over SLB this year where he might be pushed for a spot by Eric Person, but his versatility should guarantee a starting somewhere on the Yuma defense.
My picks for when they sit;
7. Boyer: this week
6. Pint: this season
5. Cothran: this season
4. Forbes: this season
3. Mobley: next season
2. Woodson: two years
1. Pipkin: Last Man Standing
