  • 2015 HALL OF FAME VOTING THREAD

After further review, I've made a few changes to the rules:

Each member can vote for up to 6 players for induction. In order for a player to become inducted he must receive at least 6 (of 9) votes. The voting period will end on 12/17.

From 2014 on, a player will only be eligible after his 5th year of retirement. That means every player that retired before the 2014 season (ret. 2014) is eligible for induction into the HOF.

Owners may vote by posting here or sending me a pm with their ballot. Let me know if you have any questions.

What are the rules in regards to players staying on the ballot. Do they need to at least receive a single vote to be eligible for the ballot next year? How many years can a player be eligible as well?

Lets say 10 yrs for eligibility. No requirement of having at least one vote to remain eligible.

For me just two at the moment:
            Corey Lincoln
            Kenyon Heflin

I'm sure the others will get in in due time, but I feel these two are in a class of their own and thus deserve to be our first-ever inductees

I felt like Roset was the closest to getting a vote from me of those who didn't get one... but I opted against him for this reason. While he was certainly crazy dominant in about half of his seasons, there were two or three seasons where he was barely average. I don't think that's HOF worthy.

I also feel like I need to start a grassroots letter writing campaign for Kenneth Clements. I know he's not getting in... hell... even I can't give him a vote. But as the League's very first Player of the Year... I have to at least give him some love in the room.
                  The Great One!

                  Too many rings to count.
