With the second pick in the 2015 OSFL Draft the Columbus Catfish select FS Monty Meier out of Oregon State!
Should we assume you are converting to CB ? --- I've never had luck with going from CB to S (you would think this would have been made as an easy switch) but from S to CB works ? (Other than Carnell Lake playing some decent CB --- Is there any other instances that one can think of in the NFL?) --- just wondering

I'm pretty sure he's the best player in the draft, position-independent (five red combines). Barring the VSOD, he's an upper 80s/low 90s safety. I found a guy his size in a SP career and signed him. At 6'4", 208 pounds, he converts to CB at 79%. If he can't lose weight, he'll end up a 70something CB. If he can, higher than that. And there's always the option to keep him at safety. From what I've seen, a 90/90 safety can have a big impact on shutting down downfield passing.
Corners are more important than safeties in FOF, so I haven't decided. And I have a greater need at CB right now, so even if he doesn't lose weight, I might still switch him.
The Showboats would like to go wide receiver here, but earlier picks left better value at other positions here.
Alternative Pick: FS Graham Delgado
24: Gainsville DE Sean Winters, Southeast Missouri State
To paraphrase a former Secretary of Defense, you make the picks from who's still on the board, not who you wish were still on the board.
Alternative Pick: DT Norbert Scheafer
25: Los Alamos OLB Harvey Pascal, Memphis
The Rattlers look to address their thinnest position here, with Pascal likely moving inside in their 3-4 scheme. Or they could just go best player available.
Alternative Pick: DT Norbert Scheafer
26: Pearl Harbor OLB Antonio Freeze, Colorado
Mr. Freeze heads to Hawaii. The Defenders are a 3-4 team with not a lot of talent at linebacker.
Alternative Pick: OT Rusty Fitzgerald
27: North Liberty OT Rusty Fitzgerald Arizona
Stupid trades, messing up my mock draft. Obviously they didn't get Welsh at 1.2. Luckily for them Fitzgerald is still here at 27.
Alternative Pick: WR Roy Gardner
28: New Orleans DT Norbert Scheafer, Arizona State
A whole lot of linemen still on the board near the end of round 1. Seems unlikely that Scheafer should fall this far, I'm just biased against the big men.
Alternative Pick: WR Roy Gardner
29: Chicago DT Chris Winters, Wisconsin
The Reapers need to restock that defense.
Alternative Pick: WR Roy Gardner
30: Boston WR Roy Gardner, California
There are other, better players available but Boston's need at WR is so great they go two for two here in the first round.
Alternative Pick: CB Carl Schmidt
31: Memphis OT Dusty Wetnight, Colorado State
The Nightmares need a left tackle and what do you know, there's one sitting right there.
Alternative Pick: CB Carl Schmidt
32: Camden OG Alan Robbins, North Carolina
Never take a guard in the first round. Unless you think you can move him to tackle, in which case draft a tackle.
As much as I do like safeties (and guards, and fullbacks, and all those other positions you're not supposed to build teams around), I think I'd be moving him too. Hard to say no to a 70's CB.
