12/3 - Staff Hiring Stage 2
12/4 - Staff Hiring Stage 3
12/6 - Summer League/Franchise/Ticket (Draft class available)
12/8 - FA Stage 1
12/10 - FA Stage 2
12/11 - FA Stage 3
12/13 - FA Stage 4
12/15 - FA Stage 5
12/17- FA Stage 6
12/17 - Draft begins (Untimed until 12/19 at 11 a.m. when I'll start the clock)
12/22 - FA Stage 7 - Draft Continues
12/29 - FA Stage 8 - Draft Continues
01/03 - FA Stage 9 - Draft Ends
01/05 - FA Stage 10,11,12
01/07 - FA Stage 2-1
01/08 - FA Stage 2-2
01/10 - FA Stage 2-3,4,5
01/12 - Training Camp (Weight training)

12/20 (would be the last time to get an interview in before the draft was over)

Damn that actually causes a little problem. Technically, you shouldnt be able to interview while the draft is going. Thats why I never ran a sim during the first three or four days of the draft.

aholbert, IIRC last year, when the draft started, I realized: "sh!!. i haven't don'e any interviews." but then i realized i had at least one opportunity to do the interviews, which i missed. maybe my memory is bad though. just what i remembered from the draft experience last year.

Dont get me wrong. There is a chance to run interviews during the draft (even though you arent supposed to) but under the old schedule the sim would not be run until the 3rd or 4th day in the draft. We are usually in the 3rd round or later so it could have an effect on the draft but not the same as with the current schedule.

With the current schedule, people could be running interviews during the late first round. Its not a huge deal imo but some owners may have an issue with it.
