      Who is Diesel?

      1. Charlotte
      2. Port City
      3. Portland*
      4. Boston*
      5. Brooklyn
      6. Washington
      7. Vegas
      8. Motor City
      9. Chicago sucks
      10. Whole bunch of teams at 7-9 that I don't want to figure out

      * = coin flip I think

      ----

Well, I ended up getting dominated by Kalispel. Oh well. Glad to see that Washington was 0-6 in the division this year. HAHAHAHAHAHHAHA!

      ----

New Portland Phantoms records this season:
      Tackles - 125 - MLB Lenny Prescott
      Asissts - 44 - MLB Lenny Prescott
Kickoff return yards - 1,156 - Donald Tatum

I guess those are the kinds of records you set when your defense is on the field all game and they just keep scoring.

Every year I exit the playoffs in the 1st round with a loss to Yuma. This year looks to be no different.

Champagne for the AC North Champs. In an ugly game with 7 turnovers the Stags dominated the yardage game but could never quite put the game on Ice until late. 517 total yards to 129 .

Tim Legan cut by Portland in week 2 had a season high 72 yards on the ground vs his old team. Jack Taylor finished with his 5th 1000 yard season in 6 years. Shane Wilkerson came off the injury list to catch 5 passes for 88 yards. He is a game breaker when he is healthy and did not drop a single pass all season.

Herb Nikolaus threw an interception on his first pass of the day which lead to Portland taking a 3-0 lead.

The Stags have never won a playoff game yet. Maybe this year.

I swept the division. That was goal #1. Beat your division. We pretty much dominated the division this season, We outscored the division 166-68.

I get the bye. I will be 100% rested and healthy.

I owe you one, man. If it wasn't for you, we'd be watching the playoffs at home. Instead, we'll be hosting a playoff game next week. You rock!

Despite turning the ball over 3 times in the second half, we are able to get the victory in Washington to clinch a wild card berth.

This will be our 4th trip to the playoffs and first in three seasons.

We have to go to Kalispel and figure out a way to get a win.

End the year with a win to finish 7-9.

By far the best season i've had since taking over... I *THINK* I may have finally found an offense that suits my team as well.

14-2 and my offensive line is in shambles. Oh well maybe we'll get a little bit healthier in the bye week.

Damn... we controlled our own destiny and lost. We needed to win at Punx but instead let the game slip away in the 4th after taking the lead with about 2 mins to go. GG Punx. Your QB looked like Peyton in the 1st half: he started 10-10 with like 130 yards. We never could stop the passing attack the whole game. Gave up 2 40+ yard completions... that hasn't happened all year.

The defending champs get to watch the rest from home. I was hoping we would get to meet Phoenix again in the playoffs and have another epic game. We were their only loss the entire season. Shit...

Tried to give that game away with four fumbles and more penalties than I care to think about.......man, 13-3 and I'm on the road with no bye. Rough crowd. I sure hope Franklin's hamstring heals up soon, I need him back.

Finishing 8-8 and just missing the playoffs really sucks. The Maniacs looked to have a fairly weak division in hand until we went on a four game losing streak starting week 13. Columbus wins the division at 8-8 and we don't even get a nice draft pick out of it. Oh well, I hope we can squeeze another year out of QB Floyd Cosby. Congrats to those that made the playoffs!
