We couldn't beat Camden. We need to win at Motor City next week to make the playoffs, and we'll need help from other teams to boot.

Sluggish day. We forced turnovers and scored off them. Chicago played tough.

I have the #1 seed. Who do I rest and who do I play? I would love to keep Los Alamos out of the playoffs though and I can guarantee that.

Things are looking bright for Anchorage. But we hold our own destiny , knock off Portland and win the division. Nikolaus thru for 378 yards in Portland , hopefully he won't need to throw as often at home. Right down to the wire.

A good win over Los Alamos get's us one step closer to 14-2 and home field advantage throughout the NC.

I'm really debating who to rest and for how long though. My offensive line is hurting and hasn't been healthy all year.

I didn't expect to win (and I didn't)... but damn I still don't get the simulation engine of this game in terms of penalties. There were 21 in my game (15 in the first half) including multiple back to back and one stretch where there was an offensive penalty on 3 straight snaps. Don't get it.

We put away Pearl Harbor in the first half and cruised to an easy victory.

A bunch of key losses gives us control over our own destiny. Can we take care of Washington to get back to the playoffs for the first time in 3 seasons?

                      Yuma 31, Portland 27
Wow. Easily one of the better games I have ever been a part of in the OSFL. I came into this game as huge underdogs, on the final home game of a very, very disappointing season. Already playing for next season, I decided to bench quarterback Henry Andrews in favor of 4th-round pick Julio Oliver out of Oregon State. Now remember I have one of the leagues worst offenses and Andrews had thrown five touchdown passes to fourteen interceptions. Oliver had an amazing game, completing 23 of 35 for 265 yards and a

1-10-POR36 (1Q: 14:38) Julio Oliver pass completed to WR Norman Beattie for 19 yards.

1-10-YUM45 (1Q: 14:16) Julio Oliver pass completed to TE Tracy Narcisse for 12 yards.

1-10-YUM33 (1Q: 13:48) Wally Fulton ran around right end for -1 yards. Tackled by OLB Victor Johnson. The ball was fumbled and recovered by POR Julio Oliver to the YUM34.

2-11-YUM34 (1Q: 13:03) Julio Oliver pass completed to WR Norman Beattie for 22 yards.

1-10-YUM12 (1Q: 12:25) Julio Oliver pass completed to WR Donald Tatum for 3 yards.

2-7-YUM09 (1Q: 11:38) Julio Oliver pass completed to WR Gene Burton for 9 yards and a TOUCHDOWN! Portland 6, Yuma 0

He goes 5/5 for 65 yards and on the one running play of the drive, he comes up with the football on a fumble by FB Wally Fulton. But in the end, the defense couldn't make enough stops. Hell of a game Yuma!

                      The Good
-Obviously the best was QB Julio Oliver. Most impressive game from the position for the Phantoms all season, as a rookie, making his debut! I'm really impressed.
-Pass protection. With a rookie QB my line gave up no sacks in 35 attempts.
-Rookie MLB Lenny Prescott had 11 tackles and a sack.

                      The Bad
-Could not get the running game going at all. This whole FB at RB thing is not working as planned. FB/RB Wally Fulton ran for 5 yards on 12 carries.
-Dean Boshier ran all over my defense.

                      The Ugly
-Lost two starters for the season due to injuries.

                      Final Game
-Next weeks game against Kalispel is important. Not only are the Stags division rivals, this game will help decide who wins the division. Last year I played spoiler to Anchorage, this year I plan to do it to Kalispel!

                          Ben,

The Catfish clinched the division last night. You own the tiebreaker and are a game up on Morgantown. Congrats.

I never know what tiebreaker is next down the line. If we lose and they win, we'd be tied in record, HTH, division, and conference. What's next? Common opponents?

Hmm.. I dont know. I looked at the in game standings and it shows Morgantown and Gville eliminated.
