    I voted NO. I am always up for realism and trying to build a winning squad rather than Drafting, Signing or Trading for the 40 best players and no depth.
    Miami Sharks (BLB)
    * BLB Champions --> 2017, 2020.

    Ohio River Sharks (OSFL)
    * OSFL Bowl CHAMPION > 2036, 2047.

      I voted YES. I think everyone in the league tries to build the deepest roster they can. I know I do. Some rosters are deeper than others, but I think that is a result of drafting skill more than anything else (see Yuma & Columbus).

      I get frustrated that a random three guys seem to get injured every week and then if I don't have enough healthy players at a certain position I have to cut a good depth player to meet the minimum reqirements for that particular position. It also makes it hard to gameplan for an opponent when your depth chart is getting auto shuffled due to injuries like mine did this last week.

        I am not saying get rid of injuries. I am just saying dial it down a bit so that the weekly roster management isn't so tedious.

          What is the injury setting? 100?

            In the old days there were a few tools to minimize injuries. In FOF8 I'm not sure that those tools exist any more. For example, you could do some things in TC that supposedly helped with injuries. In FOF8 you can't do that any more. You can still choose to deactivate a player and let him rest if the game gives you that choice. I'm not sure what else you can do to impact injuries besides lowering the injury setting. Anybody know?

              I voted yes to lowering injuries, and I've always leaned towards that in football games. #1 reason is that they're mostly random, besides the strength trainer and maybe avoiding guys with long injury histories. So it can be frustrating when well laid plans get derailed due to a 10 week injury or two. I'm fine with it the way it is, it does add to the realism (in a bad way I think, if the real NFL could eliminate injuries they would gladly) it's something everyone has to deal with so it can make building depth an extra fun challenge startegically but I find building a deep team a challenging anyway. Player management is tougher in a good way in FOF8, I find, and more than ever with FOF8 I find myself looking for role players and having every 53 spots be valuable players for certain situations. I think some injuries are good, but multiple sever injuries can quickly ruin a whole season.

                The league injury setting is currently 100, according to the info page. I wouldn't mind it coming down a bit but my personal preference is that it go no lower than 75.

                My thoughts on this are a bit complicated. On the one hand injuries are super frustrating, but on the other hand they're also realistic. Currently my biggest frustration is that I seem to be stuck in a feedback loop my stadium is shit and my city will not let me perform even the most basic maintenance for it. That problem causes a lot of noise in my brain about the injury setting and I'm having a hard time separating the issues in my brain, so I'm going to vote to keep the injury setting where it is. Like I said before, I wouldn't be upset if it went down, but cutting it significantly would be a disappointment for sure.

                  Only half of the league owners have voted. I set the poll up to end near week 17. Please vote guys.
