  • How do you feel your season is going?

So far we have been in every game. Our playmakers have been banged up. Shane Wilkerson will miss one more game. Toby Richard and Jack Taylor are both expected to play this week even though they are both nursing injuries. We actually feel good about ourselves since we are 2-2 with 3 of the first 4 games on the road.
We need to do a much better job on 3rd downs on both sides of the ball. If we don't win this week things are looking good for Anchorage who start with 6 of 10 at home including 2 road games with Portland and Port City

I am having an awful season.

I had my best player, only in his forth year, drop 40 points in training camp. My 2nd round pick, FB/RB Wally Fulton, who was supposed to be a focal point of the offense, hasn't been able to play because of Turf Toe. The #1 overall pick will miss his 2nd game this week due to injury. My signing of QB Damon Bishop has been a bust. My offensive is statistically the worst in the OSFL. While my run defense has been average, the pass defense has been just awful. The Phantoms defense is last in the league in opponents completion percentage at 75%.

My team is 0-4, with the closest game being 10-24. Sure, I had the number one pick this past draft, but I really expect my team to be a lot better. I expected at least a six-win season. I'll be lucky if I get half that.

We feel that we are a fortunate 5-0. Really have had some exciting games. QB Lorenzo Kaplan has proved he cant do the job. Cohesion be damned! HEre comes Carl Reese. I am excited and the offense should really take off. I feel I have a championship level team. Reese seems to be the final piece.
Fernando Perkins has carried the offense to this point. HE has 710 yards on 142 carries. 2 TDs and 3 fumbles.
Sammy SLade leads The receivers with 25 catches and 382 yards and 3 TDs.
Defense has been one of the best in the business.

I'm very pleased with our 3-1 record so far. Going into the season, I thought we might be the worst team in the league, since I hadn't been around to make any major offseason moves to help the team. Jamie Scoggins has done very well at QB and 3rd in the league in passer rating, so maybe the book isn't closed on his career just yet. We've also gotten solid play from our "running back by committee" with Donnie Hadavi leading the charge. The defense leads the league in yards allowed per game. I thought they'd play well enough to keep us in some games, but not quite at this level. We aren't forcing many turnovers, but we're also doing a decent job holding onto the ball. Not much to complain about so far, given how low my expecations were. I still don't think we're a playoff team, but we could be a lot worse.

4-1...close to 5-0. This really isn't my team though. I took over an absolute beast of an offense with studs at QB, TE, and 3 WR's.

My draft was so-so...I'm still trying to understand game planning and so forth...I have a feeling the salary cap is going to get me sooner or later.

Give me a few years and then I'll figure out if I know what I'm doing.

After the most exciting game in Stags history we are now 4-2. We still are not happy with the performance of our defense so far. Good news we are in 1st place and can improve.
For the first time this year we had all of our playmakers on the field and it showed with a franchise record 521 yards of offense. Starting LG Omar Webster returns this week and we actually have everyone on the roster available

Herb (No respect) Nikolaus continues to QB the offense. Management may slowdown their attempt to upseat him. Although he seems to thrive on the competition and looking over his shoulder at possible moves by the front office. As result he is quietly having the best year of his young career. Maybe he will blossom into a legit field general.
