Did Gainesville offer a signing bonus? That combined with the Wants Winner score is about all I can think of for reasons why he'd choose SLC, but Wants Winner shouldn't be worth 4x the money by itself.

OTHER POSSIBLE EXPLANATIONS:

• He is from Colorado and wanted to be closer to home.
• He'd just been sampling too much of that thing you can get in Colorado these days and he miscounted the number of zeroes in the offers.
• The SLC GM is a witch.
