At least Utah got a 3rd Round pick in addition. That's what happens with Rookies, sometimes you get gems, most of the times you get busts.

Didn't Utah send the third round pick to Lake County? A big chunk of Fry's lost points may have come from moving him to guard. But you are correct, you win some and you lose some!

I am @ work so I don't have game access. If he was switched to G, not waiting until after the training camp stage (after weight training) will not have helped. Don't rookies still change ratings in Ex2 or is that just vets?

You are right, a loss, loss trade by Utah, a rookie losing 7 (as Engelbert said) points is a very bad sign in TC... He will likely lose even more in ex-2

That's why I rarely trade for Rookies... I like to see them developing first.
